I usually don’t gravitate towards dark blue/ navy dresses. In person it reminds me of the night sky with stars. The fabric feels good on my skin, not cheap feeling. Has a good weight to it. The sparkles are elegant and don’t feel over the top, nor do they rub/ fall off. I originally ordered a size 8, but it was pretty big in the shoulders on me. So I went down to a 6 and felt it was the better size. The length is a bit long on me, I’m 5’ 3”, depending on the shoes I might get away without hemming it. I really wanted to love this, but the cut of the waistline and the pleating really accentuated my bust in a way that I did not find flattering on me. Otherwise, it’s a lovely dress! The fabric is light and pretty, the liner is soft. The colors match and the subtle sparkle is nice. The fit is true to size. For reference, I am 5”6’ and around 160lbs, bust 41”, waist 34”. I wore this to my daughter’s wedding and received compliment after compliment. I’m 5’4” and wore 3inch wedges. I did have to cut off a good 3-4 inches, but because the outer layer is more of a gauzy material with a raw edge, it did not require a hem. The thicker inner lining was short enough to avoid hemming as well. The sparkle was just right, not too sparkly. The shoulders sit just off but not falling off. I wore a regular t-shirt bra and slid my straps to the top edge of my shoulder and tightened them and everything held just fine for 8hrs! ... show more
