Super excited by this purchase. I wear between a 12-14 depending on the manufacturer (I bought the 14). I ordered the dress one week before a wedding because like always I just couldn't decide what I wanted to wear (it had to be reasonable priced, because I took 3 different dress options for the event). The dress fit as expected, was very comfortable and I loved the price point. I recieved tons of compliments, and I will definately wear it again, as it really held up well to an entire day at an outside wedding venue. I have to add, that I never go sleeveless, but the wedding was in TN, at 3pm, in Aug...UGH! Super hot! This truly was the beat option, light weight and flowy fabric. Care process: As soon as it arrived we handwashed it in a sink with a little detergent and fabric softner as it had a strong chemical odor. After soaking we rinsed it out, and gentle squeezed out the excess water, and then hung it on a hanger to air dry. Odor was gone. We packed it in our garment back for the trip, used a hand steamer on it a few hours prior to the event to get the wrinkles out, and it came out perfectly. Chose the navy, due to wedding colors. I ordered this last minute for a wedding and THANK GOODNESS for Prime! Got it in 2 days just in time. BE PREPARED: The hem was very wrinkled when it came but I used a portable steamer on it for about 5 minutes and it was perfect! I read the reviews and the sizing suggestions saying to order up because it runs small, I wasn’t sure if I should go up 1 or 2 sizes since gaining weight, the girls are bigger than ever. I went with a size 20 because that’s all they had at the time in a darker color and it worked! I felt comfortable and received a ton of compliments. I’m over 50, 5’9 220 lbs and 42DD, usually I wear an XL or XXL top & 14/16 pants. I recently had foot and knee surgery so I knew I couldn’t wear cute shoes but I was happy with the overall outcome. I highly recommend trying this dress, Especially if you are plus size and/or apple shaped. I love the dress! It's beautiful and fits my mom beautifully. But why was the tag sewn into the dress? It was almost ruined trying to get it off. Thankfully it's under the arm so it's not gonna be incredibly noticable but it's still super frustrating.

Nice dress for price. Color is exactly what I expected. Amazon suggested size 16 even though I'm 12 normaly and it fit. So either i gained weight or you need to size up🤣. It does stretch some. Lace looks a little worn down but it's not in tatters. Only thing is the zipper hard to do on my own.
