Simply stunning is the best way to summarize this gown! The fit is true to size and no stretch! So, ladies do your due diligence and measure! For context I’m 5’4” tall, a voluptuous 205 lbs, and wear a size 16. Being on the shorter side I always worry about the length. This gown is a pretty safe bet with the hi/low hem. The back did hit the floor, but it added to the beauty. The only negatives to mention are the zipper being a bit hard to get up past the satin band area, and ironing all the fluff to get the wrinkles out. (If you choose to iron, use a very low setting. Too hot will melt/burn the fabrics.) I did try steaming but it just wouldn’t do the job this time. I’ve posted a photo for reference. My husband wore a kilt to our event, so the sash was added to match him. ... show more

I wore this to a wedding, received many compliments. Runs small, I bought one size up and it fit perfectly. I wore 3-4 inch heels and the train slightly hit the ground, I am 5' 7". It was very comfortable to wear, not itchy at all.

For reference, in normal clothes I'm a 20 (xxl or 1x), but in most sizing charts for dresses on Amazon I'm between a 22-24. To be safe, I ordered in a SIZE 24. I know formal wear usually requires sizing up. I used to be lazy about measuring myself, but I'll tell you from first hand experience, it makes a world of difference after ordering 10+ dresses for folks online for my wedding. From now on, the EVER PRETTY store is where I'll be looking first to order dresses for anyone's quinceanera, wedding, or any big events I'm invited to. THIS DRESS is actually pretty conservative thanks to the wide shoulder straps so the dip in the cleavage isn't as suggestive. This is the only dress from this seller that I would suggest not sizing up so much. It is so flowy and forgiving that I know a 22 would look and fit way better. I may even get away with a size 20. It should be obvious, but because of the tool bottom, this dress will require a good steaming before use. It would look so beautiful for a garden party with the high-low design on the skirt. I like sexy clothes, so I could see this dress looking WONDERFUL on someone who has a more conservative style since it doesn't show off curves and is less suggestive but still beautiful/elegant. I could also see it being perfect for a mother of the bride dress ( in another color other than white lol) I just turned 30 and I like sexy clothes, so it's not going to be used as my wedding reception dress, but I could see myself using this dress for a baby shower in the future if that's in the cards for me. Bought this for a formal Christmas party. I bought a 12 and I wear a L or sometimes XL in tops and the same in bottoms. I am 5’4 and around 150-155 pounds. The 12 fit perfect! Since I am short, it did have a train that dragged the ground, but I did not mind. Beautiful dress that was perfect for the occasion. Very pretty, but still modest. Needed a dress for a black tie wedding and this was just what I was looking for! So comfortable, great quality, and great for dancing! I love the low/high length. When it was time to dance I just wrapped the train of the dress around my wrist. I am wearing a size 4 and I am 5’4” and 125 lbs.
