I was quite nervous buying this dress online. My measurements, across the board, were off by 2-3 inches (bigger) than what the size 26 said I should be for it to fit nicely. Frankly, I thought I would be too fat for the dress. I spent a long time checking the reviews and looking at the pictures from the other people who had bought it. Especially based off the pictures of others wearing it and general body shape differences, I hoped that perhaps it would fit despite my measurements being slightly too big. After finally deciding to give it a chance, I'm so glad I did. I feel like it fits me perfectly, and my husband loves it on me. I got it for a wedding and it was very fitting for the event. I also got quite a few compliments on it. It has a build in slip under the dress, so I didn't worry at all about it being see through. I did choose to wear a bra with it personally, but I also happened to have one that matched the color of the dress perfectly already. The straps never showed that I noticed and the dress comes high enough in the back to hide the clasp. It does show quite a bit of cleavage, but I personally didn't think that something under the dress to hide it would fit well with the dress so I just went with it. I'm 5'7" and it reached the ground on me, but not enough for me to have it altered. It did reach the ground enough that I would hold it up just a little while walking if my hands were free, but it was fine if my hands weren't free. I was just careful not to step on the hem and trip myself up. The only thing I'm not sure of right now is how to best clean the dress. So I need to look up some online instructions to see if it's machine washable or not. That, and figuring out when I'll ever have occasion to wear this dress again, are my only current concerns. Maybe I'll someday dress up just for the heck of it.

Stunning color. Nice fabric and style. Sadly fit was not as expected and I was unable to wear it for my daughter's wedding. I followed the measuring guide exactly ordering up one size. Aside from being way too long which I was prepared for, the dress portion fit beautifully. But the bodice was huge! The neckline plunged beneath my breasts. I thought I could renedy this with a triangle of excess fabric from the hem. I wear an H bra cup, but this dress gaped with abundant excess fabric. And the armholes were so large hanging at least 3 inches below my armpit, binding my arms by the sleeves, despite ample circumfrence for my arms. (Kind of like a skateboarders stride while wearing droopy drawers.) We tried pinching up the shoulder seam but then the sleeves went weird... A beautiful dissappointment for my shape.

I wore this dress to my daughter's wedding and I absolutely loved it! The fit was amazing. I normally have a very hard time finding dresses that fit me well and don't make me look pregnant with my mom-stomach. The boob area had the perfect amount of stretch and cleavage. The material was very nice and comfortable. I wore shapewear underneath which helped to give an even better shape. It was long on me but still wearable. I was 5'5" with my shoes on in the dress. I did step on the dress many times, but again, it was fine. The dark purple color was beautiful. The cut of the back was very cute. The arms fit great too. I am normally a size 16, but I ordered a size 18 because of the bust measurement on the size chart said 43.25" and I wear a 42C. It was a perfect fit for me. It did come a bit wrinkled so I took it to a dry cleaners to get it steamed. I got so many compliments on this dress. Overall a very flattering and gorgeous dress! Plus it was a great price. Highly recommend!

I bought a bunch of white dresses via Amazon for my upcoming wedding on Saturday night. Then I unexpectedly discovered a wedding designer sample sale on Sunday & got a great deal on a designer dress. If I hadn't, this may have been the one. The materials are nicer than expected & fit is about perfect. For reference I'm usually a 16W-18W, 5'8, 40D, large shoulders & arms, hips, butt & small gut & ordered 18. Floor lenght in bare feet. May keep for wedding related events. Found it very flattering. Apple shapes will probably need to size up 1-2 sizes.

First of all, for a plus size woman... I am a size 16-18 so I bought a size twenty. It looked good but too tight. Then I bought a size twenty two.. It was the exact same size.. Then I bought a size twenty four which is way bigger than I ever ever wear... I opened it up and it was too tight!! Because I really like the style of the dress.. I just went online and bought a size twenty six which is eight sizes bigger than I normally wear. I should just buy a thirty and call it a day!!! Bottom line the dresses flattering and attractive... But size two or three times more than your usual..

First off if you’re reading this, I guarantee these words are 100% honest!! I am a plus size gal (ordered a size 26). I ordered this dress after I wasn’t happy with a dress I paid more than double for, that was ordered off of my measurements, from a name brand store. The other dress - uncomfortable, unflattering, expensive, and non-returnable. This dress? A fraction of the price, so comfortable (but very sheer so plan on ordering a really good slip for it), and even though other reviews say it’s cut small, it fits PERFECT!! I’m 5’6” and do not need to hem it. The zipper sticks a bit on the ribbon waistband going in both directions, but that happens at times. The fabric is soft, just as good of quality as the dress that coat way more. I felt wonderful when I put it on. I ordered Navy Blue and it is true to color. I was skeptical, but now am so thankful that I took a chance and ordered this dress. Also, it was not scheduled to be delivered until May 12-17 and I received it on May 4. I could not be happier!
