Fit well. I have an athletic build snd the Medium was fine for my frame. However, the material had zero stretch so I was unable to raise my arms above my head, nor was I able to cross them in front of my body. If you don’t mind being confined it’s a very nice dress.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this dress considering the relatively low price. It turned out stunning and I got many compliments. According to my measurements I ordered a sized up a tiny bit to a size 18 but it was huge on me. At the end a size 14 was perfect! I loved everything about this gown. I'm 67 and wanted a mermaid gown for our granddaughters wedding on September 15, 2023. It looks exactly as shown on Amazon. The fabric is gorgeous and of great quality. The gown was perfect for a fall wedding; but will fit any season because it is so comfortable, breathable, and just plain stunning. Little to no ironing is needed. I would recommend only ironing the lining if anything. I couldn't believe the gown didn’t need any alterations. It fits like a glove. The gown is flattering on, actually has a nice waist and hipline. I wear usually a women's 6 or 8, sometimes a 10. I ordered an 8 and it fits perfect (5'8") all the way to the a smidge above the floor. I am quite happy with the quality and construction, fit, and shipping wasn't too long either!
