My mom does not like flashy clothing, but I wanted her to wear a beautiful dress for my wedding. My wedding colors are red and silver, so we thought a burgundy dress would be really nice for her as mother of the bride. This dress stood out with beautiful sequins and mesh around the waist to accentuate it, I actually purchased a second dress for her to have an option, and we decided to keep this one because the other one was too simple. This one wall beautiful, isn’t as good of a lining and sewing as the other one, but it’s still a great dress. I give it four out of five stars . A little long on my mom who’s 5’4, even with heels but a taller woman who’s 5’6 or above shouldn’t have that issue ... show more

The dress is beautiful but the length was not practical for my daughter's dance as the back hung down on the floor like a train for a wedding dress. My daughter is 5'3" for reference. We were able to get it altered as seen in the picture, but be aware of the length if you're on the shorter side.
