I got this dress to wear to a formal wedding in early June. It will be perfect for that event. I ordered a size larger than I use and it fit well - not too loose or too tight. The dress comes with a tie that can either be used in the front or the back. I'm guessing it's intended for the back, but it works both ways. The dress is two layers with the top layer being a chiffon material. It really flows when you walk around and is a great weight for a long event. The material is good quality and so the construction. I didn't find any loose threads. I'm 5'9" and the dress just hit the floor. I'd wear it with either flats or heels with no problem. While advertised as a bridesmaid dress, I think it could also be worn by guests to a wedding or to any other event. The beautiful green color would also be perfect for a Christmas event.
