Great for a wedding - easy movement mixed with elegance. I purchased a large; I am 5’6” and 155lbs. The fit was perfect. I purchased the burgundy colored dress. The descriptive photos make it appear to have something behind the lace collar; however, it does not. It is as sheer as are the dresses of other colors. I loved everything else about this dress, except that I had to modify it by sewing some fabric behind the neckline. Still, I’d buy it again. The comfort of this lovely gown is worth it; it’s easy to wear the entire day and has easy movement when dancing. It seems well made and will likely last for many more occasions.

I read a lot of reviews before I bought the dress, I was a little nervous about which size to buy, because many reviewer‘s claimed that the dress ran small. I ordered my usual size of a size 10in navy blue, and it fit perfectly. Thank goodness for that! In the pictures, it is hard to decipher what type of belt or ribbon they have around the upper waist, but it is a permanently sewn in silver mildly sparkly ribbon type belt, about a half inch wide, that is not adjustable, it does not come off the dress, and it is very pretty. I accessorized with glitter shoes, and they both complement each other. I am enclosing a photo of the Empire waist accessory that is attached to the dress in hopes that it clarifies a little better as to what it looks like in person. Some reviews claim a funny smell to this dress. It’s the dye that is used in the dress but my dress had no odor. As for what color bra to wear that potentially shows through the lace, I strongly suggest a nude, beige or darker bra that matches your skin tone, or a strapless bra that wouldn’t show any straps at all through the lace. If you choose a bra that is the same color as the dress, you’ll still see straps. I wore a strapless bra, and was very pleased with that choice. The dress is very comfortable and I highly recommend it.

The previous reviews all said runs too small. I ordered one size up and was way to small on the Torso area. Shame because it’s nice length, material and color. The sparkle belt is only in the front so it looks cheap. Definitely not made correctly for sizing. If order another size up will be too big in bust. Disappointed but really didn’t expect it to fit bc of reviews. Won’t order the next size up bc of delivery charge.
