I'm 5'8" 156lbs and a 34 C and the medium fit like a glove. If I was any thicker at all in my bust/rib cage area it would not have zipped. It was so much better than expected! It was long enough on my 34" inseam to wear regular tall heels and the chiffon outer layer still reached the floor Also with how it's made I was able to wear a normal lightweight bra. I had a black silky t-shirt bra with really thin straps and thin black band and it rarely showed. It would only sometimes pop out in the cleavage area but I didn't worry too much since the materials blended. Seriously a nice quality for a formal wedding. I got to save money on the dress since I never wear dresses more than once and I got to spend the extra money on heels I know I'll wear again! ... show more

I'm 5'4" and 150 lbs and a B cup, this was loose in the bust and would look better on a bustier person, but was excellent quality, a lovely color and would look nice on most people. Decided to go with a different dress but this one was lovely too. Great for the price.

This is a great dress. I bought this to have ready for military balls- while I'm unsure of when it may be, my boyfriends likes to tell me about things at the last minute so I figured it was worth ordering ahead and keeping on hand, especially considering the price. I am very impressed with this dress. It does not look like it cost 30 ish $!!! I normally wear a size 6, though I went by the company's size chart at the urging of other reviewers and ordered a size 8, according to my bust measurement. It fits perfectly. For reference my measurements are 36in/32DDD bust, 28in waist, and 40in hips, and I'm 5'6". The dress feels heavy and substantial, though could be worn in any season (though I would hesitate to wear anything like this in the very heat of summer since the fabric is not very breathable by nature). I could even wear the dress with my normal t-shirt bra! There was no padding built into the dress so I would not go braless, and wearing a t-shirt bra is the next easiest option. My only complaints: it is long. Even with 4 inch heels the overlay was still brushing the floor and getting caught when I walked. However this is a very easy fix- I'd rather it be too long than short! Now for being too nit-picky: the zipper is in the back but it is not an invisible zipper with the smaller pull. Also, the neckline is overstitched rather than seamed to the lining from the inside as a nice dress would likely be made. Finally, it was a bit wrinkled when it came out of the package, but it was hardly noticeable and could easily be steamed out while taking a hot shower. Again, these are the smallest and most unimportant complaints I could find. I couldn't even justify taking off a star for these little things. I didn't order a size up, but judging by reviews you need at least 2 sizes up. The color was pretty, and it felt like a high quality material, but the chest was WAY too tight. I couldn't even get it over my head, and there's zero stretch. I couldn't really order a size up because it was too long as it was. Super disappointed and will be returning it. ... show more

For reference: I am 5'7", 140 lbs, with a 36B bra size.I purchased this dress and another Ever Pretty brand dress in a 10 after taking my measurements and ordering based on Ever Pretty's size chart. It was far too large. So, I went ahead and ordered it in an 8. I didn't have time to do an exchange because the wedding that I am wearing it to as a bridesmaid is quickly approaching. I did receive a size 8 blush colored dress, but it was not this dress and it was still too big in the bust. It fit relatively well everywhere else and both dresses were long enough to wear heels comfortably, they touched the floor when barefoot. I ended up going with a dress from another website because I don't have the time to wait and see if they get it right the next time and the size 6 was not prime. The material was thin, but with the Shadowline maxi slipShadowline Flare Half Slip (47116), 38" WHITE, S and skin colored underwear, it was okay. So, for the price, I recommend this brand only if you have plenty of time before the event just in case it is completely wrong. ... show more

I've never written a review before, but this dress deserves one! My boyfriend and I last minute decided to go to a Spring Formal and I only had a week to find a dress. I resorted to Amazon, ordered it on Friday, got it on Sunday-- and to my pleasant surprise it fits perfectly! I am 5'9", 145 lb, and ordered a size 8... couldn't be happier with the fit. I love the simple elegance of the dress and have never worn a dress this comfortable. It is the perfect length (which can be difficult to find speaking as a tall girl). I am in shock that I found a dress that looks this elegant for so cheap and that did not need any alterations! I’m actually returning it, but I wanted to answer some of the questions I had in mind when I ordered it: this dress is in a burgundy shade just like the pictures (even though they call it red). I’m 5’7” and it was still plenty long even with 3” heels. The fit was great. I ordered an 8. You will need to steam the wrinkles, it arrived very wrinkled. If you have very petite women in your wedding party, they will be swimming in this dress, it only goes as small as a 4 (which is why we can’t use it for the wedding). Unfortunately they don’t carry 0/2 in this brand that I’ve seen. ALSO, I tried this dress on with a bra and the bra didn’t show anywhere. Hope this helps! ... show more
