They’re lightweight with a waffle/textured material but not see through. The band is stretchy and has a non scrunch front so it still looks dressy. I have large hips, ordered my usual size and still have tons of room without it looking baggy. I got these for a trip to Italy as a basic neutral bottom. Worked great. They were a teenybit short, but it was ok since we were walking so much, would have been awful if they dragged at all. The waffle knit gives it a nice visual texture up close. They are mid-weight, not too thin but substantial. Would recommend and am keeping as a casual trouser.

Fit - my waist is 29" and I found the medium slightly loose. Small would have been a better fit I think. Height - 5'7 and they hit mid ankle. Color ordered - black Fabric - thin, which is great for everyday comfort but I would imagine it's see through on the lighter colors. Yes, I would buy again in size small.

I’m 5’3” and these are too long even with heels on for me. I got them tailored, which made them more expensive than they’re worth. The fabric is very comfortable, but it snags easily. These pants are cute for work now that I’ve had them shortened, but I wouldn’t recommend them unless you’re taller or know someone who will hem them for free.

I typically avoid pleats as a plus size woman, but these are actually flattering and fit properly through the rise, hips, booty, and thighs. I am 5'7" and 215 lbs with a 40 inch lower waist and 50 inch hips. I purchased the 2x in dark blue. It seems most pleated pants doe not fit me properly in the rise and have a huge amount of fabric that bulges. I did not have that problem with these pants. This lightweight pant has a tiny waffle weave, but that helps prevent lumps and bumps from showing. You could wear this with a tucked in blouse or with a shirt that isn't tucked in. I also tried this with several belts and liked a chunky belt best. Pantylines were visible so plan accordingly. I find these to be acceptable office attire. My inseam is about 28 or 29 inches. These pants are a couple inches longer that that. A shoe with a 1.75" heel made them perfect. The best part for me, living in a hot climate, is that these are cool enough to be comfortable in the hotter months, when it feels like my city is on the surface of the sun. Definitely recommend.
