I have to agree with everyone about the original scents because it is not the same. That being said the harvesting of whale gland oil to give it the original scent makes that a more than fair trade off. I’d rather smell different than know a beautiful creature died fir my scent fix. This scent is good enough and I still get so many compliments on its aroma. I don’t have to use much and it lasts all day. It’s my scent. It’s ot flowery or musky but has clean earthy aroma.. It’s different from most flowery scents. The cost is more but I don’t use it everyday and it’s worth it to treat myself. It will always be my signature scent. ... show more

Won’t let my wife to wear anything else, that’s why I buy it for her! It’s her “signature fragrance”, not only is it my favorite but she gets compliments all the time...men, women, all comment...telling her how “good” she smells and ask what she’s wearing. Don’t like it when women wear too much perfume - it stinks - a correctly worn fragrance should kiss the air, not cloud it. This fragrance isn’t overpowering, it has a wonderfully light scent that lingers momentarily. All fragrances are influenced by body chemistry and one will smell differently on another, this fragrance is perfect for my wife and makes her scent forever memorable. Estée Lauder has a limited production of Azuree and at one time thought it would be retired but apparently it was loved enough to save it.     • Stands the test of time
I have worn this same fragrance for over 40 years. It must agree with me since waiters often mention it and I have been stopped on the street telling me how good it smells. It is not always available in stores even though it is still made. It is nice to know I can always find it.

Smelled this scent on a cowrkr braving the no perfume rules....but hey we were wearing masks...anyway I obtained via Amazon and really adore the light powdery aroma....use very little however.
