This ring is beautiful. It is very sparkly and the setting is nice and sturdy. I looks like a real diamond to me. The setting doesn't look quite real to me, but only if you look very closely. (Some of the corners and edges are not cut as sharp as they could be and the metal doesn't have that heavy feel that gold or platinum does.) I am planning to return it because the 2 carat center stone is just too big for me., but that is just my personal preference. Bought this as a “travel” ring to wear on those occasions where It feels risky wearing my real engagement ring. Looks absolutely beautiful. I try to be rather selective of wearing it in water as I know it has the potential to tarnish. As with any jewelry I take it off before showering and daily before bed. It really does sparkle! Center stone is pretty, shiny, however gives off a blue hue. Problem is the side stone "baguettes" are dead- they don't shine at all, no sparkle. Held up next to real thing and there's a major difference. Looks like a $30 ring. I suppose if you don't have the real thing, you wouldn't notice - but those that have real diamonds can tell by looking at it that it's fake. ... show more
