There are 8 different colors, with 3 folders each. They seem sturdy and decent quality. I like the fact that I can writes notes on the outside of the folder. The only issue I've had (& why it's not 5 stars) is that 3 of the colors are so dark that notes are not easily readable.

I love that this EOOUT files come into multiples colors. It makes finding the correct file so much easier to locate. I also love the fact that you can write on the outside as it comes with lines for notes. As an accountant, I end up holding onto paperwork that needs more information, to be inputted, only needs to be used short term etc. With these folders, I can write exactly what’s in the folder, reasons why I’m holding onto the paperwork or how long I need to keep it for. These folders are perfect for important files that you need to be able to locate quickly. I have so many files that I can never seem to be able to find what I am looking for quickly. The colored folders definitely help me pick out the file I am looking for. When I add notes to the front of these folders, it is an additional aid to quickly locating the file I need. I need an organized office! It's just necessary for me. Colored hanging file folders, especially with lined fronts help with that process. These are sturdy, third tab, folders with enough lined space on the front of each to allow you to organize and maintain a neat file cabinet.

    • A little pricey but worth it to me
you can definitely find plain manila file folders for less than this, but these are really great, vivid colors (which helps with organization in my case) and they are nice and sturdy and resist "dog-ears". I really like the notes lines on the front - I never thought to put notes on my folders but it's a great trick when you're not so good at remembering. It's a quick and easy reference. I suppose I might fill up all the notes and need a new folder before it's really "worn out" because they are so well made, but I'm really enjoying using them, so it's worth it to me. ... show more

The folders are nice and thick. An 8x11 piece of paper fits inside perfectly. Great concept to be able to date the folder on the out side to keep information organized. The colors are really a nice combination.
