I have arthritis in both my hands and that has led to a thickening of the middle knuckle. I had my original gold band on and had a heckuva time getting it off over the knuckle when I realized if I didn't get it off now, my knuckle would be too swollen to get it off at all. I do a lot of hard hand work - yard, gardening, building, cleaning, mechanicking, etc., so was also taking the band off frequently. I was gonna get another gold band, a size larger just to get it over the knuckle, but for a fraction of the cost, plus comfort and flexibility, I no longer have to remove, it's easy to get on and take off when I have to, and it's just so dang comfortable! I should have thought of this from the git-go. For active couples who are struggling as they get started, this is a WONDERFUL ring to have on hand. A gold band is a wonderful heirloom and a good investment, but this one is practical and ya won't feel devastated if it gets lost or marred. Worst quality silicone rings I have seen. They look nothing like the pictures or descriptions. Edges are wavy and very rough. No quality control at this company. Ring is not worth a dollar.

Nice ring. The matte-like finish with a slight sheen makes it look metallic despite being silicone. I’ve worn it for a week or two and it’s held up pretty well, too. Note that it does stretch a little bit. I got it to my real ring size and it’s slightly loose now, although nothing that’ll make it fall off. I also wish it were a little firmer than it is. I know one of its features is to give under pressure to avoid damaging the finger, but it has a little more give than I’d like. Sometimes just putting on gloves causes it to snag and tug a bit, which probably worsens the stretching too. ... show more

I love this thing. The recommendation was to size up and I did. That was a mistake. I would have kept with my ring size. But it is soooooo nice.
