  • Warning when installing hard 2.5" hard drives / SSDs directly to the case.
Size: E-ATX Full Tower Color: MAKASHI MK50
This isn't really a well-designed case. I haven't built a computer in over a decade and a lot has changed, but this case does not make it any easier to build a computer. For one, it's great that is can do up to 4 SSD or 2.5" drives on the case itself (one is in a tray in the back, but still the same issue) and then 2 more either 2.5" or 3.5" on the bottom trays. The problem is the SSDs that get installed directly onto the case literally have no real room for SATA power connections. Either they are on the very first power connection on the power supply cable, or you are almost breaking the SSD board to get it powered up if you have multiple power connections coming from the PSU. If the hard drive was lifted maybe a few mm, enough to clear the wiring, or at least that area cut out closer to the SSD so the cables are not pushing against a wall, this case would have been great. But I think I heard a crack when I attempted to plug in one of my drives and I am now scared when I finally build the computer that the drive is now dead because of the force the cable is imposing on the drive because it doesn’t have clearance. The other is the "PSU Tunnel". Not sure what happened when they designed it, but they put the holes for the fan on the opposite end of where the power supply goes. So when you install a power supply the fan has less than half an inch from the top for any kind of air flow. If you also purchased an RGB PSU, guess what? You won't be able to see crap because the PSU is completely covered. A bit disappointed with this case. I really hope I didn't just destroy one of the SSDs and the stress of the power of the other ones with time don't also get damaged. I may have to get something else to put under them and find longer screws in order to feel comfortable that the drives are going to be OK. ... show more

  • The good the bad the ugly, pros and cons of this rgb case.
Size: ATX Mid-Tower Color: StarryFort SF30
So this seems to be the new norm of glass panel cases unless you are water cooling all of your major parts, cpu and gpu you should go with another case this case even with added fans lacks proper cooling. Pro: - looks cool - bottom mounted power supply - solid parts (durable) -fans are near silent (three in front one in the back. cons: -this is not a full tower case, size is that of mid tower leaving very little room for parts - lacks ventilation - not much air flow to power supply and little to no cooling to the bottom hard drives. -lacks hard drive slots, (three standard in bottom mount. And three ssd hard drive mounting spots with not enough spacers to do such applications safely.) - tight power supply and hdd area that is not removable making it a pain to get power supply in and out. - wire management area too little of space causing the side panel to bow slightly if you want to hide all wires even with zip tying them down as close to the motherboard this is still a challenge. ... show more

  • Terrible case!
Size: ATX Mid-Tower Color: StarryFort SF30
This case is all rgb bling no utility the back removable plates do not come out easy if you have a aftermarket bigger gpu the clearance from it to the glass is about a inch so it heats the glass up very hot it’s very compact and runs very hot the rgb does not sync to aura sync like stated even if you hook it straight to motherboard via splitter the included controller is a mess along with cable management the glass is hardly good and the back clearance is basically none you will have to either super cable manage this by tying everything super close together and pushing it down or have someone help you put the right side on. all in all it’s a terrible case for the price $20 more you can get coolermaster mb530p has better fans actually comes with a rgb 3 way splitter and enough clearance for gpu to not turn your glass into a oven rack and has enough room to hold whatever. mine came damaged and when trying to contact support for this they did not want to work with me terrible customer support. I ended up ordering said case up top it comes next week and I’m still working on getting my refund my only regret is not thinking a case mattered so much when in reality it’s one of the most important pieces to a build! ... show more

  • Decent case for a small build and smallish budget.
Size: M-ATX Mini Tower Color: MS20 White
Case working as intended for a small build with Micro ATX mobo in it. The room is tight, but cord management is decent. I just removed the HD trays and shoved some cables in there. Overall, clean build. Word of caution, if using twin fan liquid cooling, choose your ram wisely, as I had to modify one of the fans because it would not fit. You could also use a single fan for your radiator, or just some water-free big Noctua fan , or similar. Case have an excellent airflow with Enermax fans, but they are loud even after adjusting in BIOS. They just move a lot of air, so it’s the source of noise. The mobo I used was Gigabyte B365M DS3H Maybe if you have different orientation of your mobo, you’ll have more room. Happy building! PS: If you leave your computer case unattended mid-build, other people might make adjustments to it, as seen in my second pic... ... show more

  • Has some challenges for a first timer
Size: ATX Mid-Tower Color: StarryFort SF30
I bought this case for my first pc build because I wanted something with built in rgb fans in this price range. The case came in great condition and had simple instructions. However when I took the back panel off the wires for the fans and the rgb hub were a mess and it was really overwhelming for a first time builder also the psu shroud is really small the power supply I had barely fit and I had to wiggle it in in such a way that I ended up breaking two fan headers off the motherboard but that was my own fault. Just a heads up if you buy this case make sure you buy a small power supply. Also the instructions don’t tell you this but in order to get the argb controls to sync up with your mobo you have to have the reset button cable plugged into the rgb panel and then hold the reset button for 3 seconds or so. I had to google it and open it back up to move the reset cable from the mobo which was a pain. But after I got the rgb looking how I wanted it this case looks great and is over a good value just keep these things in mind if you’re a first timer like me ... show more
