These are 2 pieces. A mounting plate that screws on and the snap on faceplate. Installing then was no more difficult than an ugly screw on one. Yeah, they're a little more, but honestly how often do you change your faceplate, and wouldn't you want something that really pops? Well worth the minimal increase in price to me. The beauty they add is amazing. As you can se, we ordered single and double gang plates and replaced all outlets, switches and plates in our kitchen. For the record we use the same ones, in a different color, I'm my wife's office as well. ... show more
