I am in love with this wig!I initially purchased it to just wear it to the gym and to have it as my run some quick errands unit....I end up purchasing a few expensive bundles from a well known hair company and just never got around to wearing this Amazon wig...one day I decided to take this beauty out the box shake her out and wear her and OMG!I've been in love ever since...Everywhere I go I get soooo many compliments on it!people just stare and eventually come up to me telling me how nice my hair is...Its giving that classic vibe I love.meanwhile the expensive hair I wore didn't receive hardly any of the attention I am receiving with this less expensive unit...This wig should be fluffed out occasionally with the brush you receive when you purchase it,It really helps bring the curls out even more...Ladies do not hesitate to purchase her...She is so nice I had to order another one. ... show more

I thought the wig itself was fine for the price (less than $30). The hair looks natural enough, nice color, quite big curls. But the roots are choppy and matted, so I would be nervous about anyone getting too close. My issue with it is that it doesn't actually look contemporary like the model photo suggests. It looks kind of old school and for an older person (I'm in my 30s). At first I tried to work with that and see if I could make it work as an intentionally "retro"--'70s vibe, but I couldn't get it to a place where I would feel comfortable going into the world with it. I purchased it about 6 days ago, and tried to fill out the paperwork to return it today. I was shocked to find out that even though I bought it through Amazon Prime, the purchase was nonrefundable due to the sellers' own return policies. I don't fault Amazon or the sellers for this--I'm just shocked that its non-refundable status was not made more clear so that I could make an informed decision at the point of purchasing. This is the first time I've bought a wig that didn't work and that I am now stuck with. Honestly, I've made other wigs that I didn't love work and have never actually returned them--I started a return process once for another wig, got my return label and repackaged it, but I eventually canceled the return once I worked with my hairdresser and she thought she could do something with it. So this is not the first one I've kept after not liking it, but it's the first time I'm doing it because I have no other choice. So just be aware. ... show more

I love his wig. I have purchased it several times. I know what to expect. The style is the same everytime. You get what you see. It looks as advertised. I like the color of the hair. I get lots of compliments for the highlights. I cut it to shape my face. I shake it out, and run my fingers through the curls to make it look more natural. It's easy to style. It doesn't smell. I really REALLY wanted to like this wig. But there's a lot that you must do in order to make this unit functional for you. And note that it tangles anyways. But you must do the following: 1) buy your own combs to sew-in the front, the sides, and the back. The back straps to tighten this wig are simply not enough to hold this unit on your head. It's just not. Hard to comb and detangle the hair once installed this way. 2) alter many bobby pins in order to secure the unit on your head (see item #1 above), but because the entire cap is neither lace or breathable using a lot of bobby pins to secure it is also ineffective. Hard to comb and detangle the hair once installed this way, as well.😓 3) i was attracted to this wig because of the bouncy curls, but for your warning, the curls are also very bushy when separated (and you need to separate them). So, just ensure that you have a mousse to tame the volume, unless your objective is the auntie Maxine look (note: there's absoultely nothing wrong with the auntie maxine look, the unit is workable once on your head - but if you want something a little less bouffant and more curly/sleek you will need styling mousse) 3a) applies if you're able to secure this unit to your head. I REALLY wanted to like this wig piece, but truthfully i dont feel comfortable wearing it out because i feel this is poorly secured to my head when im out. And i dont think that the 30 bobbypins are sustainable. Not a lace front, not a lace top so there's no real way to glue the piece to your head either. So, im disappointed. The cost is cheap, but just know that you need to buy wig combs and sew them yourself in order to customize it. Otherwise, i cant recommend the wig. ... show more
