    • Great starter kit
With the addition of this electric drum set, I am now as accomplished a drummer as I am a keyboard player or guitarist. Which is to say, not so much, but it isn't the fault of the equipment. While not pretending to be of professional quality, this kit nonetheless provides a functional set of tom, snare, cymbal, and hi-hat sounds to practice your paradiddles and rolls. There's some fru-fru that others might like, such as rhythm tracks, but the functional parts for me are the floor pedals and the auxiliary output jacks. The resulting sound isn't exactly lifelike, but wasn't intended to be. This is for training, not professional recording (although artists sometimes use similarly limited instruments to create a "low-fi" or retro sound, and these would work fine for that, too). I would have liked a MIDI output feature, but I suspect a better sound engineer than me could somehow convert the analog signal. Regardless, for the $59.99 USD price, this kit is perfect for a beginner. ... show more

This is a decent electric drum set, perfect for a toddler. The sound quality is off but it will do for what we are using it for, just a toy to beat around on.

The media could not be loaded. I have an older age toddler that is more on the extreme end with behavior outburst. We were at the end of our ropes being his only diagnosis is having sensory overload issues. It was suggested to me more than once to try music therapy with the use of drums by medical professionals as well as friends. This wasn’t an option for us to try until I came across this wonderful compact drum set that is also affordable. Our home didn’t allow space for even a child’s drum set up, I couldn’t handle the noise if space wasn’t an issue but mostly finding a drum set we could afford was impossible until now with this one. The sound quality is great and adjustable, it’s capable to headphones which is the best feature ever. More importantly the extreme outburst have been none existent since my child has had this to come home to everyday. I am no doctor and I am not saying music therapy or drums are a behavior cure but I can assure you that our entire family, teachers, and community have seen a tremendous improvement and playing drums has been the only change. This is most definitely durable as ours is still holding up without a single issue with daily playing that’s not always gently drumming. With four musically inclined grandchildren (3 boys and 1 girl), it is my granddaughter who's passionate about drumming, and it has been a source of endless joy for her. I was really impressed with this electric drum. My son has shown a passion for making music so for his birthday I decided to get him this. He is 9 years old and he couldn't get it out if the box fast enough. There's so much you can do with it. You can record. You can use headphones. You can hook it up to a laptop or computer. The amount of settings and music you can choose seems endless. It is also rechargeable so there aren't any need for batteries! It is a really great choice for anyone who wants to see if they like rhe drums and its seems like a great choice for someone who has been playing drums forever. ... show more

I was interested in this drum set for myself. It is indeed a great beginners pad - for adults and even more so for children. The sound quality is decent and there's no delay in reaction to hitting the pads and sound coming out, and more importantly you don't have to be a rocket scientist to use it. It comes with two foot pedals, drum sticks with tips and an adapter. The pad is very clear to understand with written text of the piece of the drum set along with color picture icon. Mat is water resilient - but not waterproof. So be careful with any liquids around it. Can't wait to jam out on these! ... show more

    • Great toy for kids who want to play drums
This is a pretty cool toy. It's a mat with sounds of a drum set, complete with snare, cymbals, and even a bass. It also comes with sturdy wooden drum sticks. Would recommend for kids who want to learn drums, but can't afford full set or doesn't have enough space at home.
