    • NO PILOTHOLES TO ATTACH THE BACK PANELING

It says "don't use power tools" but then has no pilot holes for you to attach the decorative back paneling... Contacted their customer service and they told me to drill into the back so I could attach the paneling to it. Some of the wood pieces were warped and scratched. One of the pieces is too short by about half a cm. Overall small flaws that are aren't noticed from far. The shelves are attached by wooden pegs so I don't think they'll be able to hold too much weight. Haven't tested this yet though Overall looks cute but kind of pain to have to drill about 20 pilot holes to attach the backboards. I have no experience in using power tools so I'm kind of honestly nervous to do it in case I damage the rest of it Overall I'm quite disappointed because I bought this specifically because I thought the vertical paneling was cute but that was the exact part that's literally scratched, warped, and a pain to put in ... show more

Received the item early, however, when I unpacked it (no shipping damage) one piece was damaged. I contacted the seller and they shipped another piece for 2 day delivery. After receiving the piece the bookshelf looks fabulous in my living room. Very sturdy!

This bookcase is small but mighty. It holds a lot of cookbooks. Some are large, heavy books and it holds them without a bowing shelf. It is a attractive and comes in more than one color finish. It was easily assembled and in in use quickly.

This bookcase fit in perfectly with the other furniture in the living room. It works well as an accent piece, but is also practical. My granddaughter's books are on it and I don't worry about it falling over on her. The size is just right; it is sturdy, and most importantly, it was easy to assemble.
