I had a rolling work table, but the mechanism for raising and lowering it was a hand operated bolt. Within a matter of a few days, it would already be sunk back down and I'd have to readjust...which was a pain. It wasn't that old and so I was reluctant to buy this one (or any replacement), chalking it up to just being too lazy to keep having to do the adjustments. But I finally did and am so glad! What was I waiting for? And this table is slightly bigger so it gives me a lot more room to work. And best of all, it stays in the position I put it! If I need a change, it's a touch of a lever. I got the black standing desk, and it works like a charm, it's about 2 feet or so in it's not raised position, so just enough height for sitting down. I'm 5ft5inches with a taller torso. I also had a bit of issues with the lowering, but found that it required me to hold the handle up while pushing down with my weight. Otherwise the adjustment was pretty good. It's a bit on the heavier side, but it works, about 23lbs or 12kg. I was able to carry it fairly easily. I have hardwood floors and the wheels barely made a sound and were buttery smooth gliding on it. Very satisfied so far on using it for barely a few hours. ... show more

I wanted an height adjustable portable small table, while I already have several small tables. This table is not cheap, but the quality is impressive. Nice big / thick steel base, quality wheels and a good looking wood looking MDF (fake wood) top; said to be waterproof. However, I would not use it in a wet environment. The top looks like a HD printed wood pattern. It even has a good different (rustic) looking underside. While it feels sturdy,I just wish the board is slightly thicker. The key feature is the pneumatic adjustment. While the ad claims it holds 30 lbs, I weight 200 lbs and lean hard on it held fine. It is also very nice that it is light to push down. The only cons is that it is 20 lbs heavy, and slightly bulky. But I can’t take any point off due to its good quality. ... show more
