this cream did make me tan after one use. i used it on my face which they say not to but it worked good and washed it off shortly after i didn’t put it on my body yet though but you definitely don’t need more then a fingers length worth

This is one of my favorite tingle lotions! Ok so I have been tanning on and off for like 20 years and worked at a tanning salon. This Ed Hardy tingle lotion has a nice strong tingle and gets you dark! I used to use this and designer skin's bombshell but bombshell is harder to find and is double the price of what I used to pay. I was so happy to find this lotion is still around and affordable (I used it when it came out in 2012). The only thing to be aware of is the tingle transfers from yu to someone else if you touch them. So if you have a child or pet just be careful. Okay, let me preface by saying that I had previously used Ed Hardy: Obnoxious tanning lotion in the past - probably 2 or 3 years ago. My experience with it then was VASTLY different from my current experience.. and I can definitely say I’m majorly disappointed. I’m not sure if the formula has been changed since I last used it a few years back, but I NEVER had any issues with it back then. This time using it was a NIGHTMARE. Initial application was fine. The smell was a bit off from what I remembered but had that very traditional bronzer aroma. Nothing worrisome. A lightly tinted beige color to the lotion when applying it - no bronze or tint showed up on the skin. A soft lotion that is easy to spread and rub in. It brought that some tingling, burning sensation that I had remembered and loved... so far, so good. Until... hours have passed and suddenly bronze streaks and spots start showing up all over my skin in random places. Not in the typical places (ankles, knees, elbows, etc.) that you sometimes may see bronzer show up either.. but EVERYWHERE. By the next day I looked terrible. Even after multiple scrubs.. I’m STILL trying to get the horrible streaks off. I don’t understand why or how this happened.. as I rubbed in the lotion the same way I’ve always rubbed in my lotions - without issue. I can say that I will definitely NOT be using or repurchasing this lotion ever again. This has been a horrible experience and unlike I had ever experienced when using it in the past. Something has definitely changed or perhaps it’s expired. Either way.. I do NOT recommend this product. ... show more

this is a great tanning lotion. I was very pleased. The first time I used it and I had a great base tan going. I would suggest if you have sensitive skin. This is not the lotion for you, it does have quite an extreme tingle to it. and even being an experienced tanner, it was even a bit much for me. So be aware when you use this product, you will have an extreme tingle after you tan. but I did get good tan results from it. ... show more

I have used this for 2 years and I love it yes it turns you red but the redness goes away I am now ordering my 2nd bottle. I do use on my face to but if you can’t handle the tingling or heat on your face don’t do it but I will not buy any other tingling lotion I love this one. Great product
