The cutter is cheap, does not even slide through notebook paper. It’s super flimsy the blade fell out on the very first use

This is a nice set to use with your Cricut machine at a good price. I have always measured and cut my vinyl using a regular ruler and a rotary blade which is hard to do sometimes because the ruler slips and I end up with an uneven edge. The trimmer is perfect to make cutting vinyl so much easier. You just slide the vinyl in and with one swipe it cuts an even straight line. This was my primary purpose for getting this set. The included scissors, scraper, weeder, spatula and tweezer are an added bonus for me. I like that they come in an easy to store reusable case too. However after handling the tools I prefer my original Cricut tools over these all metal ones. The Cricut brand tools have a better feel and grip in my hand. But all in all this is a nice set at a good price if your looking to spend less on a trimmer then the name brand.

Nice kit that comes with 2 main parts; a plastic cutting surface and a tool kit with various tools used for vinyl cutting, weeding and transfer. The plastic cutting tool seems somewhat cheap but it works well for small vinyl projects. It has a fold out ruler when working with longer prints and the cutting arm is easy to use. Just push down on it and move it up and down and it cuts through standard thickness vinyl sheets easily. The little tool kit comes in a plastic box and includes a sharp mini scissors, plastic scraping tool, tweezers, and 2 other tools that appear to be made from surgical grade stainless steel. The kit is nicer than I expected and really high quality overall considering the price. It's a basic kit but perfect to get started with vinyl cutting projects. I've been using it for all my vinyl cutting and it's working great with no issues on any of the parts. I don't know how long the cutting table will last but the other tools seem really well made and should last forever. Very happy with this set, especially good for beginners with no other tools.
