Alexa is smarter than Siri, that is for sure! ChatGPT is going to give it a run for its money though very soon. We'll see how that turns out. My only real complaint is that the audio quality is terrible. Muffled bass heavy sound and no way to adjust the audio quality. Apple blows the Echo out of the water if you care about music. Otherwise, Echo wins on many other fronts, not the least is the screen! If they came out with a HiFi Echo, even if it cost more, I'd get it in a heartbeat!

This was one of the best things I ever bought for my Mom. I lived over 900 miles away and could only visit in person 3 times a year. With the Show we were able to have video chats all the time. She loved being able to see me while we talked. I used the alexa app on my phone and was then able to show her things in my house and garden. She loved being able to see flowers around the yard. There is a drop in feature so the person using the show does not have to get up to answer the video calls. I was also able to send pictures and then she could see them on the show. On Christmas we would send her some packages and then she could participate in the gift openings like she was with us. This was priceless to her and us. She loved to use Alexa for setting timers which is funny. My Mom passed away this year. I was able to have a video chat with her right up until she passed away. The Echo Show was priceless to me.

I had to say the commands over and over to get this thing to work. I finally threw it away it just wasn’t worth the headache anymore. It would answer randomly! Save yourself some time money and frustration it’s just not worth it!
