This little dot is great. Compared to the 2nd generation, the sound quality is a lot better and clearer. I placed it in our family living room where it can be heard through the entire house. However, I can't say equally the same with the mount. The mount is advertised with having strong adhesive tabs that will hold your 3. Like most customers who have bought the mount, this is not the case, and I believe it to be a flaw in the design. The echo dot is too front heavy that it bows forward, causing the adhesive to peel from the top down. There's no bottom wall support for the back to counter the weight. I tried using a 24lb rated adhesive tape and had the same results where it began to slowly peel from the top down. Skip the adhesive and go straight for the screws and wall mount. With that said, I compliment the sturdiness of the dot 3. It took quite a fall when the adhesive let loose, but came out unscathed and still functioning 100%. Great buy, and will definitely be buying another one...possibly two.
