This is my 3rd or 4th pair of Ecco men's dress shoes in the last 10+ years. This is my go to brand for work wear, as they make an affordable, stylish, uniform compliant, durable shoe, while being airport friendly. There was no mention in the product description of missing insoles, but there were none when the shoes arrived. The shoes seemed a bit big, but it was difficult to tell without insoles. The leather seemed almost like PU leather; it was very thin. The interior sides of the shoe were lined in what appeared to be suede or nubuck and a little of the thin leather. Overall, these shoes were a bit disappointing after all the hype I had read, and I wasn’t willing to spend an additional $25 to $30 to order insoles to see if they might manage to live up to any of it. ... show more

Not sure what it is about the shoes, but a size 6 to 6.5 should, in theory fit a 9.25" foot reasonably well, with some wiggle room. Instead, this shoe, as well as a whole lot of others appear to be about a size or two larger than advertised!(?)
