I purchased the urn in Ruby to bury my mom, and it is BEAUTIFUL. Pics do not give the stone justice. I found the size to be big enough to fit my mom’s ashes, and the opening plenty large enough to not need to remove her ashes from the bag (I really didn’t want to do this). It seals well, and the stone is definitely real and very sturdy. I almost regret burying it, as it’s so stunning it looks great to also display. There was a strong chemical smell inside the vault, but I don’t think this is a big deal since it’s not something I would regularly open. Also, I noticed some people claim their urns were dirty or appeared to have someone else’s remaining ashes inside. This is just the dust that naturally comes off the stone. You can tell when you unscrew the opening, as it’s raw, unpolished stone there that flakes off very easily. It’s just the nature of stone.

The urn arrived very well packaged and without any damage. It appears to be well constructed and it's perfect for what I was looking for. I got it at a very reasonable price without prime shipping at the time. I notice the price is about $50 more now just a couple months later, but it's also 2-day prime shipped whereas in my case, it was about 5 days for shipping. I was not in a hurry as cremation was not imminent, only expected in a few months from my purchase date. When I later went to the funeral home they had nearly identical (although not the "right" color) urns in the same style with a smaller access cap. Naturally theirs were considerably more money (about double) and that's fair because they make their living on these items and the services they provide. But I liked this one better, the color was perfect for what I wanted, the price was very reasonable, and the quality turned out to be good. And I had that detail handled prior to putting in place a Funeral Trust agreement. I am very pleased with the purchase and I'd recommend this product to anyone looking for this type of urn. It's appropriate for display, or for interment in an urn niche, or burial in the ground.

the item was exactly what was needed and expected. smooth, finely polished finish with an attractive marble look; heavy and solidly made; the access point for filling worked well and seemed secure; volume was very adequate for cremation ashes and had room for small mementos or offerings also. it shipped fast and arrived in sensible protective packaging. if you need one of these, the last thing you need is any more to worry about, and i was pleased with the urn in every way. i was directed to this product by a cemetery administrator, and the cost savings compared to ordering from a funeral service provider or memorials company was significant.

My father passed away earlier this year, and he wanted to be cremated. We were at the funeral home, handling arrangements, and the person we were working with asked about the type of container we wanted for the cremains. They had several on display there, and the prices didn't seem horrible. But we'd never shopped for cremains urns before, so what did we know? We were going back and forth, and the lovely person at the funeral home told us we could also find something on Amazon. Now why didn't I think of that? So we decided to hold off on ordering anything until we could find something our mom really liked. I asked her several questions and filtered my search based on her answers. What did she want it made of? What shape? What color? She knew she wanted rectangle, marble, and green. And this is the result. The funeral home had nothing even remotely like this. The urn arrived in two days. When we opened the box, my mom was so pleased by this! It's really lovely. She said it was exactly what she had pictured, and she was so happy about the way it looks. And it was easily half the price of what we saw at the funeral home.
