  • Might be the best damn "murse" out there...
Size: Standard Color: Black
I don't do reviews very often but this one is worthy. Background: Former Mil and full time LEO; NREMT-P, TEMS, vol FireMedic and all the other dang things. 20+ years up in it. I will without fail ALWAYS prefer on body carry. But along with a multitude of other reasons/situations, it can't always happen. Top of the list, I live at the beach and it's also hotter then the devils breath 9 months out of the year. I don't even want to talk about the humidity. Every environment is different, but lightweight shorts, t shirts and sun hoodies are the standard UOTD around here. While I'm all about a sling bag....for reasons (it's always in the truck) the advent (or resurgence if you're a 90s kid like me) of the waist packs was a solution for places like here. I've been through several different waist packs and stayed on the fence about them. I regularly used them as an adjunct for over stuffed pockets. Enter the bando bag. FOREWARNING: The one issue you may have is the holster pocket footprint. If you carry a full size or even mid-size with optics, you're gonna want a bando XL. When I waist bag carry, it's either a comped and optics G43x or a non optics G26. Fits perfect. With that out of the way, the holster pocket layout and methodology fits my liking to a T. No flop, solid mount up and purchase point with any number of velcro backed holsters. Is the draw as fast as a good AIWB setup? Maybe not quite, but spend some time on it. It's fast enough for the compromise it is. Move up to the "main" pocket, wallet, spare mags, mini ingress/egress kit, keys, mini trauma kit, 1 cell light and ETK tourniquet drop in with room to spare. Good organizational setup inside, zippered pouch, two pockets in rear and elastic band in roof for your TQ or mag or a candy bar. Front small zipper pocket for small whatevers. I keep skittles and a couple pairs of nitrile gloves in there. With all that, not only is there room to spare if you need to flex, it does NOT look full, let alone overstuffed. With all that, I'm a tall lanky dude, 6'2" and change and 180lbs. It's easy for some waist packs to look oversized and too "obvious". (Think the vertx Soc-P). Too much for my taste. The bando bag is a perfect size and low profile. If you think a man purse might be an option for you, don't end up here like I did. Just start here. It's as popular as it is for a reason. Oh, and the zipper pulls kick ass too. ... show more

  • Do not use without a proper trigger guard ,kydex holster, or DAO
Size: X-Large Color: Black
First off you should not use this with a single action without proper safe guards I would never carry a loaded single action or striker fired device without a trigger cover even with a safety. A safety could be accidentally disengaged But i do throw my striker fired device into a kydex holster and velcro that inside or throw my j-frame in here very concealable very comfoetable and has extra space for a SOF-T tourniquet This does not work for CAT tourniquets because velcro thats neither here nor there but i just couldnt get my CAT in and out with the velcro but i predernthe SOF-T anyways I wear this cross body as a first aid bag and occasionally throw my J frame in the concealement pocket works great for that but please dont be the cringe guy with a 1911 cocked and locked bouncing around waiting for that safety to be knocked into the wrong position My one complaint is that there isnt really any padding on the back which is a tiny problem if you wear this cross body behind you having steel bouncing onto your spine all day ... show more

  • Durability and multiple zippered compartments.
Size: Standard Color: Coyote Brown
This was a great buy. I use it all the time. I keep all my essentials in it. It has room for my phone and other necessities. It is durable and the zippers are strong. It can be worn as a shoulder bag or a fanny pack. I use it both ways. Great quality, a little pricey. Worth it overall.

  • Decent bag for EDC
Size: Standard Color: Gray
I’ve been using the Eberlestock Bando Bag, a tactical men’s fanny pack, for about six months during hikes and range trips, and it’s a practical, well-built option for carrying essentials. Made from 420D Cordura nylon, it’s tough enough to handle rough trails and range environments, resisting scuffs and light rain while staying lightweight at just under a pound. The main compartment easily fits my phone, keys, wallet, and a small first-aid kit, with a mesh zippered pocket and two slip pockets keeping things organized. The front zippered pocket is perfect for smaller items like cords or a multitool, and the adjustable waist belt (31.5” to 44”) is comfortable for long wear, whether around the waist or slung crossbody. The full-zip back pocket (5.25”H x 9.25”W x 3”D) securely holds my Glock 19 with a trigger guard, and the integrated tourniquet sleeve under the main flap is a smart addition for emergencies. At around $50-$70, it’s a solid value for its durability and versatility. That said, it’s not perfect. The tactical look, even in muted colors like coyote brown or grey, might stand out in urban settings, as some Amazon reviews note, and it’s not as sleek as minimalist fanny packs. The included elastic band for the CCW pocket is flimsy—most users, including myself, swap it for a Velcro-backed holster or 3M adhesive Velcro for better firearm retention, as discussed on Reddit. The zipper quality is hit-or-miss; mine’s held up, but some reviewers report sticky or less durable zippers after heavy use. It can also feel cramped if you overload it with bulkier items like a water bottle alongside a firearm. For general hiking and range use, it’s a reliable EDC solution, but if you need more space or a less tactical vibe, the Bando XL or a non-CCW-focused pack might be worth considering. ... show more

  • Good bag to have
Size: Standard Color: Black
This was a great carry and concealed bag. Nice and light with a big enough compartment for a compact carry and conceal. The bag was not shiny or bulky like others that are on the market.

  • Awesomeness!!!
Size: X-Large Color: Coyote Brown
Absolutely the best CCW fanny pack!!! I’ve owned several and this one takes the cake. It’s perfect for basically anything from camping to EDC. I always like classic designs and this is it. The XL is the way to go unless you are a super minimalist.
