Virtually unbreakable polycarbonate construction, the wall plates are mid sized to cover wall imperfections and large wallboard openings. Screw Catch feature holds back plate mounting screws captive for ease of installation. 2 gang.

I've recently bought quite a few of different gang-type screwless wall plates, and Eaton is one of the best ones. They have a strong, but thin, backing plate (with impressed directions on which end is up), nice, glossy finish, and a small little notch in the event you need to pull off the plate in the future. Also, not the sandwich style as other brands, so clean lines and seams throughout. If you're having trouble with 'recessed' switches or outlets after installing, use the existing screws which are attaching the box to your outlet or switch as an adjustment screw to bring the unit forward, after the backing plate is installed so you it sits flush to the front plate after installing. ... show more

These plates will give your switch installations a high-end touch. They are easy to install (and remove). Because the outer plate completely covers the base plate, the Eaton assemblies have a very clean look. With Lutron assemblies you can see the base plate and the outer plate with a VERY noticeable seam. Very clunky. If you want to "kick it up a notch", you will likely be pleased with this addition to your otherwise boring electrical switches and outlet. ... show more

They look nice, nice price but a review said they did work with their Kasa Smart switches/dimmers HS200 and HS220 but for me there were 2 bumps on this plate that were hitting the little settings buttons, so I could NOT install. I'm going to try and get a sharp knife or sandpaper or file and see if I can remove them to get it to work. If so I will buy more . . . but if . . . ... show more

I used hard our money to buy these switches. I receive no discount. They are slightly smaller then the switches that come with a Smart Wi-Fi light switch. They are white not as bright white. But they are equally as beautiful and as aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The price point is well worth your purchase. And they are easier to install and remove. This is due to the design that has screws instead of just snapping on and off. They allow you to tighten up multiple Rocker plates after you get the switch on. That my friend is a serious installation benefit. I could not do that with other plates. I cannot tell you how well worth it it is to buy these plates for your whole house.     • Change The Look of Your Wall Plates in Barely a Couple Minutes

After having some new lights installed around the house I got to looking how old and outdated our wall plates looked. Went with this brand as one of the major brands that start with "L" has some weird two piece assembly and from the side looked like two pieces of sandwiched plastic. The Eaton plates are simple, separate the backing plate, install it to the switch assembly (two screws or four screws depending on if you're doing single or double gang), snap on the new faceplate - you're done. I did 15 doubles and 12 singles in under an hour. House is 25 years old and they fit perfect over the existing rocker switch. You can do it, they're super easy to install. ... show more

Worked perfectly, installed in less than a minute. Install the back plate then snap cover right on. I only took away 1 star because the plastic feels thin, like it could break if you over tighten it. I did not have any issues with the plate but my wall isn’t perfectly flat because of texture so it doesn’t seem to want to sit flat. You can’t tell looking right at it so technically I would rate it 4.5 Stars. I will definitely buy another. I forgot to mention I bought this to replace the cover after I installed a WEMO smart switch, they don’t offer a 2 gang cover so this worked perfectly! ... show more
