I purchased the wide width in my regular size. At first it felt a bit snug (I tried it with socks). After a couple short trips to the store, they feel fine. I like the square toe, as it adds more room for my wide foot. Arch support was good. It feels better wearing with socks since if barefoot, the top rubs against the skin. I've always loved Easy Spirit shoes for their comfort, but these don't measure up to that standard. There is very little paddling in the sole, so walking any distance actually leaves my feet feeling bruised . The tread is also very slippery, so you have to be careful when walking. When I bought these they were a little narrow. I wear a med. width and that is what I ordered. I put on a sock and wore them around the house to see if they would stretch a little and they have but with socks they are still tight. They did stretch a little. With Bare feet or a thin stocking they fit fine. I have tendonitis in my heel and when I wear these all say long my heel does not hurt. I love them! ... show more
