I have had four foot surgeries in the past forty years. It is hard to find shoes that provide the correct fit, comfort & support that I need for all of my various issues. My go-to brand was discontinued many years ago, and I have been "limping along" a couple of pairs of those shoes/clogs since then. Have ordered a few different brands online in the past few years, but they didn't work for me. Was hesitant to buy more shoes online, but these easy-spirit shoes are great! Finally, I have found footwear that is comfortable and stylish. Looks like I found my new go-to brand.

I order this shoe as a Try Before You Buy. I have always loved clogs, and they are hard to find. I wanted to LOVE this shoe because I love the color. It was OKAY. However, the leather seemed to be BONDED, and it seemed to be very, very thin. The odd thing was, there were NO markings in the shoe or on the box, so there was no way to know for sure. I am hard on shoes. I did not feel like they would hold up, especially for the money. The fit was fine. I sent them back.

UPDATE: I was never contacted by the seller regarding the faulty shoes. Since it was a Christmas gift that was purchased well before Christmas, but not designated as a gift, the return window had passed before the shoes were worn for the second time in which the workmanship issue became noticeable. So now I'm stuck with a $50 pair of shoes that I cannot return and cannot wear either. If they had actually been leather I could have taken them to our cobbler and had him dye them a darker shade to hopefully hide the issue, but since they are man-made uppers that won't work. I was thinking they were leather when I purchased them because the last two pairs I got from Clark were leather uppers. I had no idea they had switched to man-made materials in the last few years. It's hard enough to find leather shoes without companies who previously made them in leather switching over to manmade. Some of us have allergies to anything other than suede or leather or cotton clothing so it is imperative we be able to find 100% leather products. I purchased two pairs of these shoes last month, one pair black and one pair brown. The black shoes have been worn almost daily and in both rain and shine with no issues. I have only worn these brown shoes twice and there is a spot on the right shoe where the upper part of the shoe is cracking and wearing and even the color has changed. Not happy at all considering what I paid for them. This is my third pair from this brand and the others all lasted for years. Not sure what happened with this pair.
