I used to wear this style of shoe all the time until I developed arthritis on the side of my foot and a bone spur on my heel. Then the shoes seemed to rub in all the wrong places. I also have a very wide foot that makes getting comfortable shoes that actually fit very difficult. When I saw that they had the double wide, I decided to give them a try. Since I usually order shoes at least a full size larger than normal to help with my issues I decided to order them 1/2 size larger as many reviews stated that they ran large. They really do! They fit very loosely, but with thicker socks I'm sure they will be perfect. Since I live in a colder climate, that is great for me. Since the shoe was on a great sale, I decided to order another pair in the smaller size and they were perfect! That pair will be for summer and the other will be for winter. Win win! They are very well made and comfortable. Nice and cushiony and don't rub too much. (Everything rubs a little on me!) The double wide really is double wide. Too often wide or double wide is just 'advertising', but not really extra wide. ... show more

I've purchased so many pairs of the EasySpirit TravelTime sport mules, that I have lost count. I've also gifted quite a few pairs to friends + family. There aren't many shoe manufacturers that offer Narrow Width (especially in a sport mule). Most slip-on's are so wide, I walk right out of them. (Birkenstock, Ugg, Oofos, even Crocs are always too wide to consider). Despite the TravelTime mules' various colors, I always stick to black + white, solid white, and beige. They are unobtrusive, incredibly comfortable, breathable with a mesh + genuine suede upper, easy to slip on and off, and are my go-to for casual errands. The biggest issue I have is that I've received mis-identified/mis-labeled/mis-tagged pairs. I bought 2 pairs yesterday. • Both 7.5 Narrow. • Both boxes say 7.5 Narrow. • Both pairs of shoes say 7.5 Narrow. • Same SKU + barcode on boxes. • One box is slightly longer + slim Vs. the other box which is wider + shorter. • One pair of shoes is 7.5 Narrow and the other is a 7.5 Wide (but still tagged as Narrow). I've spoken to EasySpirit.com support who told me that they use different-sized boxes to show at a glance if the shoes are Narrow-width (taller + thinner box) + Wide-width (shorter + wider box). So, one pair is going back and I am placing another order for the 7.5 Narrow (and crossing fingers I don't get another mis-identified/mis-labeled wide pair) but tagged as Narrow. Very inconsistent. And this isn't the first time it's happened. Several reviewers said the same thing : they ordered a Wide-width + received a Narrow pair (labeled as Wide). And I ordered Narrow-width and received Wide (labeled as Narrow). The recurring mis-identification, mis-labeling, and mis-tagging of EasySpirit TravelTime mules is an issue for many customers - either they order Wide and get Narrow, or vice-versa. EasySpirit makes 15 sizes (+ half-sizes) - all available in a Narrow-width, Regular/Medium-width, Wide-width, and/or Extra-Wide-width. The possibilities for shoe size + width mis-identification and mis-labeling are endless. EasySpirit appears to have a SERIOUS quality control problem. ... show more

Very comfortable to wear inside and outdoors. They keep my ankles from rolling over which is something that happens frequently in houseshoes and slippers. I love these because they fit well, keep my heel seated in the shoe but they're also easy to step into and out again. 10/10 recommend.
