I was shocked how much a little league bat is going for these days. Can't a kid just play some baseball without taking a loan. This bat fit the bill perfectly by providing solid metal bat, with a big sweet spot, super cushy grip, and a nice color, all for an affordable and reasonable price.

This will be the 3rd size of this exact same bat for our 9 year old little leaguer that has been purchased. He has had some really expensive bats in the past 4 years, especially when playing up on an all star team. None of which he absolutely loved. This one however is beyond his favorite. From machine pitch when he was younger, to now kid pitch for the past 2 years, he is beyond loyal to this bats performance. He is a power hitter and this bat has always outlasted, and outperformed anything else we have ever bought him. No frills or thrills, just an extremely great product. Even better price. Overall, a solid bat that my kid is adjusting to and enjoying the feel of. The drop is great for this age 10-12 group in that if gives them more bat length but not a significant weight adjustment that would throw off their swing. The only complaint is that some hits not in the sweet spot of the bat can cause some vibration/stinging in the hands. I suppose to be expected given the bat's material. ... show more

Has a nice sound when my 8 year old squares it up. It's a little big for him at 4', about 50 pounds. So hopefully he can use it again next year. Looks good. Really an excellent value bat. Not top of the line, but definitely not a junk throwaway bat. Pleasantly surprised.
