This bat is the same length and weight as my wood bat but is much better at surviving batting cages. I've taken it to the cages about 50 times, and it's holding up well. I got this bat for my son to use while playing varsity baseball in high school. It worked well for the money. Other kids’ bats that cost more worked better, but a lot of the boys liked the fell of my son’s bat so it got a lot of use.
