New FLEX barrel technology, designed specifically for 1.15 BPF performance, provides a 20% softer barrel for optimal feel and performance. The new Speed Cap design helps create a more flexible and responsive barrel, while also enhancing the sound of the bat. The -12 speed balanced design delivers a lighter swing weight for more speed behind the ball at contact. This 2018-19 Easton Ghost X Hyperlitemodel has a 2-3/4โ€ barrel and features a custom LIZARD SKINS DSP batgrip for the best feel, cushion and tack. It is approved for play in USSSA and associations that follow the 1.15BPF standard.

My Son LOVES this bat. He plays 10u and it's perfect. It has a nice sweet spot and the pop sound is great to hear. The Drop is perfect for that balance swing. Though the vibration is more noticable since it's a 1 pcs construction it's not something that's unbearable.

I liked this bat for its extra ounce of weight saved. My kid liked this bat for his awesome hits. However- two tournaments into the season and the endcap cracked . I dont know that it impacts performance- but you can hear it when he hits. We contacted the seller who asked us to warranty through Easton. After a short registration process and a few emails- we had a shipping label. In about 4 weeks, the bat was returned to us with a replacement end cap. The same bat was sent to us- although they did clean it up a bit. The new endcap seems sturdier- letโ€™s hope for the best! ... show more

I purchased this bat in November for a Christmas gift. My son used it for a week before the "speed cap" broke as he was hitting the ball sending plastic pieces into the air. We contacted amazon and they told us to reach out to Easton . They would not provide any warranty because it was past 30 days. Just FYI not sure how great of quality this bat is. My kid is 12 and broke the speed cap couple practices in with the bat ... show more
