New FLEX barrel technology, designed specifically for 1.15 BPF performance, provides a 20% softer barrel for optimal feel and performance. The new Speed Cap design helps create a more flexible and responsive barrel, while also enhancing the sound of the bat. The -12 speed balanced design delivers a lighter swing weight for more speed behind the ball at contact. This 2018-19 Easton Ghost X Hyperlitemodel has a 2-3/4” barrel and features a custom LIZARD SKINS DSP batgrip for the best feel, cushion and tack. It is approved for play in USSSA and associations that follow the 1.15BPF standard.

I liked this bat for its extra ounce of weight saved. My kid liked this bat for his awesome hits. However- two tournaments into the season and the endcap cracked . I dont know that it impacts performance- but you can hear it when he hits. We contacted the seller who asked us to warranty through Easton. After a short registration process and a few emails- we had a shipping label. In about 4 weeks, the bat was returned to us with a replacement end cap. The same bat was sent to us- although they did clean it up a bit. The new endcap seems sturdier- let’s hope for the best! ... show more

The bat fits my 8 year old well his glove is an 11 1/2 kind of a size reference. He can swing it good and has gotten 2 home runs in a game with it.

The end cap has broken on this bat twice in a span of 2 months. Three weeks after receiving the warranty replacement the second bat broke during a soft toss drill right before a championship game. The warranty is great, but you will pay shipping every time to send it back, and be without a bat during the process. ... show more

My Son LOVES this bat. He plays 10u and it's perfect. It has a nice sweet spot and the pop sound is great to hear. The Drop is perfect for that balance swing. Though the vibration is more noticable since it's a 1 pcs construction it's not something that's unbearable.

My son used it for 10u travel team. The cat 8 blows it out the box... the ghost is lighter but you don’t get the same distance on hit balls as other bats. Followed all directions on how to break it in.
