Honestly not sure if it’s the bat or a combo of hard work, determination & practice but my 8yr old has been hitting BOMBS. He says the bat isn’t super light & he wishes it was lighter but there is less sting when he makes good contact. It’s definitely a good bat, price isn’t outrageous like some are. I’m not sure at this age if thst bat makes all the difference, I mean to be honest kids with $400 aren’t hitting but I do know he feels proud to use it, is hitting longer shots and has no complaints. This is the super bat for my son. He was just a so so hitter. One of the other kids on the team had this bat. My son tried it and it was like night and day. He’s turned in to the super slugger. Highly recommended
