I’ve been coaching High School Baseball for a while, so I see a ton of different BBCOR bats cycle through our team every single season. We recently got the 32-inch 2026 Hype Fire, and I have to say, it completely lives up to the name. First off, this bat is absolutely hot right out of the wrapper. Usually, with a 2-piece composite, I tell my guys they need to put in a few hundred swings in the cage before it really opens up, but that wasn't the case here. From the very first BP session, the ball was just coming off the barrel incredibly hard. You can hear the difference and see the jump in exit velo right away. On top of the performance, it just looks fantastic. The kids definitely care about how a bat looks at the plate, and Easton really nailed the design on this 2026 model. It’s got a ton of swagger. But the real test for me as a coach is watching what the guys actually choose to swing when the pressure is on. We have a bat rack full of expensive, high-end options from every brand, and this Hype Fire is the one my players grab over and over again. It has a massive sweet spot, the swing weight feels really balanced for a -3, and it totally eats up the vibration when they get jammed. If you have a high schooler or an older travel ball player looking for a new BBCOR, this is the one. It gives the kids a ton of confidence at the plate. Worth every penny.

This is an excellent bat. My son is required to use BBCOR and he had a 31 drop 3 BBCOR that was about a $70 bat. He was 0 for nine in the first four games with seven strikeouts. We received the hype fire and immediately his teammates were asking if they could try it as well. His first two at bats he hit two sharp line drives to right field, both doubles. Now this bat is also the 31/28 drop 3 BBCOR same as the old one. What's the difference? I can't explain the science, but I can tell you when I grab the bat myself and swung it compared to the old one the other one feels heavy and it requires much more strength and quick reflex to swing the old bat as easily as the new one. It actually feels different and it definitely performed differently my son's first game. It took me a while to swallow the fact that a bat can cost hundreds of dollars, but this is a tool for a baseball player and I have to say it's a darn good one. He's getting more hits, his confidence is up and I'm a believer. It's way better than a sub $100 bat. I consider it an excellent value as a quality hitting tool. On top of that it looks cool too. This is the point I'd normally say "mic drop", but it's more like "batdrop", while running the bases instead of walking back to the dugout head hung low. In my and my sons opinion, it's definitely worth it.

This is one of the best quality bat I have ever owned. I initially got this for my son but Im thinking to keep it myself. As far as weight, this is a Very well balanced bat. It doesn’t feel heavy but it hits fine and heavy. It feels great in your hand and looks premium and high end. My son always notices the Easton bats in field because they all have some special unique designs thats very obvious. They are always well designed and have very cool colors. The bat makes a great pop when you hit the sweet spot. I usually use 30 inch but because of my son I got the 32” this time. This is probably the fifth bat from Easton this year. They are really good quality bats and deliver power and performance. They come in different sizes and they generally last few years. The handle has an excellent grip that is not available on all bats. There is a thin cushion underneath the handle that makes it very soft to hold but also great grip at the same time. We are very happy.

My son absolutely LOVES this bat. The pop is incredible right out of the wrapper, and you can really hear and feel the difference on solid contact. The two-piece composite design gives it a smooth, balanced swing that’s easy for him to control, and his confidence at the plate has noticeably improved since switching to it. The build quality feels top-tier, and it handles vibrations really well—no sting even on off-center hits. For a BBCOR bat, it delivers both power and comfort. Definitely worth it if you’ve got a serious player looking to step up their game. Worth every penny.

This bat feels light and comfortable in your hands. the design means your hands don’t reverb as much resulting in clearer hits that pop across the field. This is the BBCOR version of the bat meaning it’s college and highschool baseball quality. It looks very cool and is durable for long hits. Very the money, I think it’s a little expensive, but it definitely has an attractive quality that pops the eye.

Bat Bros HIGHLY rated, I got this for my son who has and loves the original Icon. For those who are not aware, Easton and Rawlings are sister companies, and I would recommend Rawlings without hesitation. This Easton feels like an upgrade to his Icon and he is loving it. As the bat it new still, there are no defects noticed and the quality seems to be comparable to the Icon. ALL quality bats are expensive and you can definitely feel the difference in a cheap bat to an expensive bat when you swing it. This bat just feels better than his Icon.
