I’ve been coaching High School Baseball for a while, so I see a ton of different BBCOR bats cycle through our team every single season. We recently got the 32-inch 2026 Hype Fire, and I have to say, it completely lives up to the name. First off, this bat is absolutely hot right out of the wrapper. Usually, with a 2-piece composite, I tell my guys they need to put in a few hundred swings in the cage before it really opens up, but that wasn't the case here. From the very first BP session, the ball was just coming off the barrel incredibly hard. You can hear the difference and see the jump in exit velo right away. On top of the performance, it just looks fantastic. The kids definitely care about how a bat looks at the plate, and Easton really nailed the design on this 2026 model. It’s got a ton of swagger. But the real test for me as a coach is watching what the guys actually choose to swing when the pressure is on. We have a bat rack full of expensive, high-end options from every brand, and this Hype Fire is the one my players grab over and over again. It has a massive sweet spot, the swing weight feels really balanced for a -3, and it totally eats up the vibration when they get jammed. If you have a high schooler or an older travel ball player looking for a new BBCOR, this is the one. It gives the kids a ton of confidence at the plate. Worth every penny.

This is an excellent bat. My son is required to use BBCOR and he had a 31 drop 3 BBCOR that was about a $70 bat. He was 0 for nine in the first four games with seven strikeouts. We received the hype fire and immediately his teammates were asking if they could try it as well. His first two at bats he hit two sharp line drives to right field, both doubles. Now this bat is also the 31/28 drop 3 BBCOR same as the old one. What's the difference? I can't explain the science, but I can tell you when I grab the bat myself and swung it compared to the old one the other one feels heavy and it requires much more strength and quick reflex to swing the old bat as easily as the new one. It actually feels different and it definitely performed differently my son's first game. It took me a while to swallow the fact that a bat can cost hundreds of dollars, but this is a tool for a baseball player and I have to say it's a darn good one. He's getting more hits, his confidence is up and I'm a believer. It's way better than a sub $100 bat. I consider it an excellent value as a quality hitting tool. On top of that it looks cool too. This is the point I'd normally say "mic drop", but it's more like "batdrop", while running the bases instead of walking back to the dugout head hung low. In my and my sons opinion, it's definitely worth it.

Nice to finally have a Bbcor option. As the kids get older, now the upper levels of little league allow use of these bat certifications and it can also be used for school ball. Like the color scheme. It has a burnt kind of orange brown at the end, and the smooth gradient throughout from orange to yellow looks great. More subtle than the super bright lines that are common in the usssa and USA certification versions, but still stands out enough. No one else at the game had this, and a couple other kids wanted to try it out of course, as is common with every new bat. I’m not sure about the yellow handle. The light color and tacky grip has attracted a light brown dust layer where it is held. Don’t really see a way around this without going overboard and making sure the bat never gets near dirt, and hands, or batting gloves, stay very clean. Grip still feels good, it has just a bit of non bright yellow areas now. Hit is good, and has that familiar composite hit sound on contact. Big sweet spot. There are a few marks in the finish where balls have hit but they appear to rub off fairly easy to keep it looking nice.

The Drop 3 characteristic of the Hype Fire means it’s suitable for high school-level play according to AI research. In my backyard batting tee regime, this bat did very well by hitting 28 out of 30 swings in all areas of the zone. The bat feels heavy, and my hand stung a few times. The color scheme is brilliant with its bats on fire motif.

I was in the process of shopping/researching a new bat for my freshman son. Then this popped up and I had to give a try. The design of the bat is nice, color schemes like some of its past designs, you can tell it's a Hype Fire. It is well balanced for my son compared to his past bats. We've been using Axe bats exclusively since Little League. He has been using it for batting practice for about a week and only used it in 1 game far. He really likes the feel and the sound of the hit when making contact. Video is of my son's first at bat using the bat. Got an RBI, single. He is happy that I was able to pick this up for him. The hype for this bat is real.

This is one of the best quality bat I have ever owned. I initially got this for my son but Im thinking to keep it myself. As far as weight, this is a Very well balanced bat. It doesn’t feel heavy but it hits fine and heavy. It feels great in your hand and looks premium and high end. My son always notices the Easton bats in field because they all have some special unique designs thats very obvious. They are always well designed and have very cool colors. The bat makes a great pop when you hit the sweet spot. I usually use 30 inch but because of my son I got the 32” this time. This is probably the fifth bat from Easton this year. They are really good quality bats and deliver power and performance. They come in different sizes and they generally last few years. The handle has an excellent grip that is not available on all bats. There is a thin cushion underneath the handle that makes it very soft to hold but also great grip at the same time. We are very happy.
