  • Easton quality
This bat has exceeded expectations. Has the now required for 2018 USA Baseball stamp, but still delivers better than expected pop off the bat. My son only wants Easton bats and this bat further solidifies that preference...

  • Better than expected
Size: 31"/21 oz
Keep in mind that this is 5 stars for a USA bat and cannot be compared with loaded travel bats. My son is a very big/strong 10u player and is a power hitter. He normally uses an end loaded DeMarini so we wanted something that had the same feel/sound for his little league bat. We finally got to see him hit it on the field the other day and were excited to see it get to the fence more than once (he hits them over with his other bat from time to time so the 10-15ft distance difference is felt). In watching other kids, I see no results from the much higher priced Ghost that warrant its purchase over this one. As with any of these bats, if your child has a solid swing, you'll still get decent results. ... show more

I purchased a Easton Bat because I thought that they were a high quality product. I have had problems with two Easton Bats. The fist was a Easton maco flex, after my grandsons first game the coating on the outside of the bat started coming off. We had to start though Easton's warrant process the bat had to be sent back before they would agree to replace it. After three weeks they eventually sent a bat. This time I ordered a Easton Beast -10. My eight year old grandson used it twice in the batting cage and something came loose inside the bat and the coating stated to come of the bat. We again started through Easton's warranty process, called got a return number (week 1), spent and additional $49 to ship it back (week 2), Easton agree to replace the bat and send a bat bag to compensate for the trouble (week 3). At the end of Week 4 a package arrived damaged with a bat bag and no bat. Now we are into week 5 in trying to contact Easton are emails are unanswered and we are experiencing a high rate of calls leave your number and we will return your call "NOT". Starting week 6 grandson still does not have a bat, I guess my only recourse is to go spend another $200 and buy him another bat. It will not be a Easton bat. DON'T BUY EASTON ... show more

  • Last season I bought my son the Easton S3 and he loved it, in the same length and weight
It feels top heavy and unresponsive. Last season I bought my son the Easton S3 and he loved it, in the same length and weight, but he can no longer use it (I'm not at all happy with the change from USSSA to USA). I thought with the same brand, same weight and length it might be a winner, but no such luck. Now we're going to a store where he can actually swing the bats to get the feel before I buy yet another one. Also, this one weighed an ounce over the 22 that it's supposed to be. The S3 was spot on. ... show more

  • My son likes it
Nice bat. It’s hard to find USA bats that have a little pop since they were nerfed down but this one has some. Maybe I’m just lucky with the one I received. My son uses this for in-house baseball in which only USA bats are allowed. He also uses it sometimes for his travel team in which you can use any bat like the USSA bats which have a lot more pop so obviously he likes this bat and feels comfortable with it. I gave 4 stars because a lot of the cheaper USA bats that other kids on his team use don’t seem to be much different with how the ball comes off the bat. In the past, if you spent more money on a bat like an Easton Beast, you usually would get more pop and therefore more solid hits. ... show more

  • Great baseball bat
While shopping for a better bat, I came across a great price on this Beast X in a size 1 inch longer than I wanted, but I bought it thinking it would be good for my son for next year. He is already using it and hit better than with his previous bat, so he is doing well getting the bat through the zone. He will probably will still grow into a faster bat speed as he gets stronger over the next year or two and keeps this bat size. As with most bats, including his old one, this weighs about 1.5 ounces more than the label says. ... show more

  • Absolutely awesome. Excellent bat for the price.
This bat has a lot of pop and a huge sweet spot....especially for being a USA standard bat. My 8 year old son has tried a lot of bats and this one has a lot of pop, and rivals performance of bats that cost 4 times as much. They will dent and bend a little easier than some others if you’ve got a kid who is hard on equipment. If that’s the case, buy two, save the packaging, and don’t be shy about sending one of them back for warranty. This is an excellent buy. ... show more

  • Poorly made
Size: 28"/18 oz
Barely 3 weeks into little league baseball season and the bat cap came off. I put it back on, but it continues to come off every time my son hits. Been on hold for 30 minutes waiting for an Easton rep to answer the phone and figure out the warranty/replacement, but what should we do in the meantime for the season? It seems like the quality of the product has diminished and given the long, long wait time to get in touch with a warranty rep, it's pretty obvious others are having issues with the products they make. It's very disappointing to see a solid brand fail to come through. ... show more
