I got these for an outfit I was wearing to a wedding, and believe me when I tell you I read LOADS of reviews for similar shoes. I didn’t want to pay up the you know what for fancy shoes so I was expecting the same old stiff, digging into your heels, limping by the end of the night, pair of shoes that will get you through the one night with the one outfit…. But that could not have been further from the reality that this here pair of shoes brought me. First of all, the suede is nice material that can be dressed up or down. And wouldn’t you know, there is actual PADDING inside the heel and other parts that are usually a cause of discomfort. The sole is a nice cushion too and the pliable material forms to your foot and allows for ample flexibility. On the first wear, I was walking all around the venue, dancing and jumping up and down all night long, and my feet were the last thing on my mind. It wasn’t till I got back to the room to take them off I remembered I had been “breaking in” a new pair of shoes. My friend even commented his envy. They were so light and comfy that I opted for these the next morning again instead of the sneakers I had stashed in my bag. The reviews were what convinced me that the money was worth it for these shoes and honestly it’s a fantastic value. These shoes are admittedly very comfortable and I would wear them probably about once every two weeks. However, this month the back of my shoe began to crack and the back of the shoe just completely fell apart. Like plaster was coming out of it. I was reluctant to buy but I have no regrets. I needed a pair of khaki dress shoes and was having a hard time finding something comfortable that did not look ugly or manly. These shoes met all my needs. Even though I wear a size 9 they don’t look huge or bulky. The quality is worth the price and was very pleased with how comfortable the memory foam felt. They fit true to size. For comparison reasons my feet are 9.5 inches and I typically buy closed shoes with half an inch of extra space.
