I work for USPS and have to wear a protective type of shoe. I found a no slip brand that I loved but the place I bought them from closed and I could not find the brand in my size any where. So I started trying to find a shoe that worked for me. I tried several brands but none fit right. UNTIL I found Eastland shoes. The shoe is true to size though I do but the wide because my toes like to have extra room! The sole is thick and doesn't wear down. They have good arch support and the whole shoe inside has cushion. They are tie shoes which I have to have for work but I can make them as tight as I like, or as loose! I am on my feet standing or walking most of 8 hours a day. These shoes are comfortable and don't rub or cause blisters. If you need a good working, walking shoe, this is the one for you. ... show more

I LOVE this shoe. My first pair of the same brand and style lasted 16 years. YES 16 years and it still looks good, is just wearing out at back of heal. I am a nurse and work 12 hour shifts. I had so much pain in my feet before I found these shoes 16 years ago. I just bought my second pair and they are just as great as the first pair. I had to go up to a size 9 usually wear a size 8.5. They are very stable leather. The first 2 weeks you wear them they are tight and stiff but once you break them in you will love them. I figure its the last pair of nursing shoes Ill ever have to buy. After I bought these 16 years ago, all my shoes are now Eastlands, except my heals. I have Eastland sandals also. Best shoe in every style. LOVE LOVE LOVE Them. ... show more

I have bought at least 4 pairs of Eastland Women's Plainview shoes for work and have loved them. (this review is for the last pair I bought) So, about a year ago, when I found them for a great price, I bought another pair for the day my others wore out. Well, yesterday was that day. I got the box out and wore them. They felt and looked good. However, today is day 2 of wearing them and when I looked down at my left foot, the entire toe had separated from the sole. Since I've had them for so long, even though they were unworn all of that time, there is no option to return but I felt the need to put out there that there are issues with some of these shoes so that other buyers can beware. I hate that, because for comfort, I would give them 5 stars...but only lasting 2 days on the job is unacceptable. ... show more

I bought these shoes for a middle schooler. We bought her size (what she’d normally buy for shoes) in wide and the toe box was way too small. We tried a half size more. Still too tight. We’re now trying a full size bigger.

Eastland shoes are good quality. The price is decent, especially when I can find them on Amazon! This my third pair of this style. They are comfortable and are good for casual wear. I wear them daily to work. They have good support. The sole on my previous pairs has split at about the 1 year mark. I hope Eastland has solved this problem, but time will tell. They are easy to polish up and continue to look good after many times wearing them. I would recommend this shoe. Adding to my previous review…I have posted a pic, purchased in Sept 2023. The bottoms split…again. I am disappointed. I haven’t found any shoe that fits as well as these do so will probably just order them again, knowing I won’t get a year out of them. I wish Eastland would fix this problem. The shoes I used to order did not do this ... show more

I bought a pair of these many years ago and was thrilled to find the same style on Amazon. These shoes are comfortable and I was able to find my size in a wide. I have found them to be true to size. I noticed some reviews indicated issues with the toe box. I found that both shoes had a large wad of paper used to keep the form that was easily removed. However, each shoe had an additional piece firmly wedged to the toe box side. It took a bit work to get these extra pieces out. I wonder if some of the reviews that have issues with the toe box width or finding one shoe fit and the other did not were because of this tightly packed paper. It was so firmly packed I thought it was plastic. Overall I would definitely recommend these if you need a comfortable pair of shoes. ... show more
