The handle section is much heavier duty than I expected it would be. The lighting section I think could be a little more heavy duty since it's likely it'll be stored in the trunk and get banged around pretty significantly. The lights are quite bright on it though and can be seen from a long ways away. It toggles between a slow flash, quick flash and steady light, so depending on how you're looking to make yourself seen, you have options. It uses 2 C cell batteries too, which adds some heft to it.
