The white, you do have to make a couple of passes, or dab it where you want it, but it shows up actually white. He has also colored in some of my tattoos with these also. Rich color and perfect on black paper! My only issue was after I used one on textured cardstock it wore the brush tip out after only writing a few words. The ones I hadn't used on textured paper were ok. I'd recommend them if you are only using them on very smooth surfaces.
