I'm a big fan of the DXL Big & Tall relaxed-fit jeans. They have a lot of stretch, making them comfortable to wear all day long. The fabric is also soft and breathable, so I don't get too hot or sweaty when I'm wearing them. I like the relaxed fit because it's not too baggy, but it's also not too tight. I have a belly, and these jeans don't accentuate it. The rise is also good, so I don't have to worry about them slipping. The quality of the construction is also good. The stitching is even, and the seams are sturdy. I've had several of these jeans for a few years now, and they've held up well to wear and tear. I'm very happy with the DXL Big & Tall relaxed-fit jeans. They're comfortable, stylish, and good value for the money. I recommend them to other big and tall guys. My hubby likes how these jeans fit. They do not bind when he sits; the rise is comfortable and leaves things covered. The weight of the material is not thin and feels like they would withstands some outdoor work.

The fabric on EVERY pair of essentials brand have ripped off seam about one inch fron the right side center point of zipper toward the crotch area. Mo way of fixing. The material is weak in that area in Every single pair of essentials I have bought for my husband abd my grand son! Buyer beware. Never ever again buying anything essentials!

I ordered one pair of these jeans in early July. At first they were great, they fit well and were very comfortable, so ordered 3 more pair at the end of July. I've worn each pair at least once a week since I got them. Two and a half months later, I noticed a small hole forming in the crotch of one pair. I took them off to see if they could be easily repaired, and that's when I noticed the back seam was almost completely threadbare, as well as the seams around the two back pockets. I checked the other three pairs, and they are all exhibiting similar damage. Four pairs of jeans unwearable after 2-1/2 months. I'm not doing lots of stretching or moving in these pants, I just sit at a desk for most of the day. If you want jeans that will last, look elsewhere.

If you opt for these, it might be wise to purchase an additional pair. While they are comfortable and serve their purpose, anticipate potential wear and tear within a few months. Would I repurchase?
