Nicest curtains I have ever seen. They really do look like linen. I use a lot of panels for some privacy at night (otherwise, you can see through them). They are what I would call "medium sheer". Hung reasonably straight right out of the package (i usually just wet these types of curtains and hang them wet to get wrinkles out but that wasn't necessary here. Grommets are a pleasant satin nickle finish ... not too shiney .. very nice ... and fit an oversized wooden curtain rod I use (my rod is a 1 3/8 in diameter). Color is true white. The only thing that would be better is if they came in a double width version. ... show more

I am able to open my darkening curtains through the day to let plenty light in and maintain the privacy from outside. In the evening when it is dark outside/light in the house you are able to see through the sheer curtains which is expected. Great quality and color (white). Bought the first set of sheer white curtains in January and even though they were wide enough, they were sufficient to provide privacy and with putting curtains over these, we won’t notice. Second pair, I bought this week for my bedroom to put behind blackout curtains for when I want privacy, but natural light. Love the texture, how they hang, and they are nice quality! These curtains are sheer just like a person wants who orders them. I ordered more than i needed so my glass door would be fluffy and beautiful. I decided no longer would I order curtains that hang from putting them on a curtain rod. I Love the grommets they move side to side fast, they hang like drapes and can be pulled open and closed to let light in. If you hang more than you need they also hang like drapes.
