Look, they are inexpensive plastic outlet plates, there is absolutely nothing remarkable about them. But they are larger than most and that can be important in some cases. The room that I just finished working on had plaster walls and the plaster had been attached to the concrete walls of the basement with these horizontal strips. There was no moisture barrier and so over the decades the walls had deteriorated and crumbled. I had to rebuilt them. And the room had been panelled so once the panelling came off there was a lot of work to do. The outlet covers didn't cover the entire outlet. These took care of the problem. It's quite nice having fresh new covers that don't have 15 coats of paint on them! ... show more
