Oh my goodness, what a beautiful and versatile dress! I have zero idea why others have complained about this dress, it is beautiful and simple, yet could be dressed up with a silvery belt or other accessories. I chose the white and went a size up to be sure it fit, but wasn't too snug, as I will be wearing this for my Confirmation in my Catholic Parish. And at 53 years old, modesty is important to me, as I'm no longer fit and slim as I was in my younger years. The lace is soft, and while trying it on, I experienced no issues with snagging or anything like that, as others mentioned. The dress has ample lining under the lace. As for those complaining about bra straps, wear a nudes colored bra, and that won't be an issue. The length is below the knee, so if that is an issue for you, this either might not be the dress for you, or if you're talented with a sewing machine, it should not be an issue to shorten it to your tastes, but for me, the modest length is perfect. I did not have any issues with the lace sleeves being too tight either, as some complained about, but I also decided to go with a size up to be sure my larger chest and tummy were not showing or squeezed. My suggestion, especially if you're clothes shopping online is this: Measure yourself, or have someone help you do so. The size chart gives the measurements and they are accurate; if you're in between sizes, just go up one size. So it may be a bit looser, but at least you won't have to worry about busting seams, and you could always get it altered a little where needed; and finally, don't purchase an obviously simple lace dress and get upset that it doesn't have a belt or bling, especially not at the price point this dress is sold at, that's just unrealistic. It's a basic lace dress, which means you get to add the accessories, or not, that you like, rather than having to go with what the manufacturer chose for everyone, it is individually customizable, and that's a really great thing. As for other complaints, some complained about the dress looking worn, I did not have that experience. It came packaged in two separate plastic bags that were sealed. It was folded nicely in the bag and it had zero wrinkles due to the polyester fabric. It did not feel cheaply made, it did not fit like a glove and risk tearing, the seams were well done and showed no signs of snags, loose or extra threads, it is not see through. It is plain and simple, it is a bit stretchy but it's not lycra or those sorts of stretchy fabrics, it is versatile and customizable; much like a blank canvas. So do what you will with this review. I bought this to go under a corset for a spring dress. I absolutely love it. Like with all lace dresses you have to be careful because it can and will snag. The dress is well made, and fits perfectly. Would totally work as a bridal dress for a non formal wedding.

This dress is made of beautiful lace and is lined. After reading the reviews, looking at the size chart, and taking my measurements, I ordered the XXXL instead of an XL that I normally wear. The dress fit well in the bodice and waist, but was a couple inches too long for my 5'3" height. Additionally, the nice long zipper on the back of the dress was sewn to close to the lace and did not open and close without catching. Or possibly, the dress I got was a return and someone had jammed it up. Truly a pretty dress and at a very economical price. It's worth taking a chance if you like the style and have plenty of time to return if you are planning ahead. Sadly, I am returning the dress and going to retail to get it right. ... show more
