I love this dress! Definitely one of my new favorites, and worth the price for me. First off, I ordered a small and (with the adjustable straps at the shortest possible length) it fits very well! The front is lower; not immodest but still feminine. The skirt is a good, long length, and very flowy and pretty. If I sit in the wrong positions the neckline pushes out a little awkwardly, but standing up, or sitting with good posture, it was fine. The material is not soft, but not scratchy at all either. It was very comfortable (I wore it for 6 hours). The zipper works smoothly, and the color is a beautiful dark navy. It definitely requires a slip though, as the skirt is very thin. Other than that, the only thing that could have made this dress better would be pockets! I will wear this dress mostly for formal events, but I think I could also dress it down a little with a brown belt and sandals. Overall I really love this dress; It's elegant and feminine while still being very comfortable and modest! ... show more

dress was absolutely beautiful. it was the perfect length not too long nor too short, the ruffle in the front was stitched to the bottom so no accidental flashes. The zipper was good and slid right up and down the tracking, the fabric was the perfect thickness, not see through and felt like it held everything in place together. The color was spot on with what I was looking for and the dress style was very flowy you felt even prettier in it. The sizing was amazing, it was also pretty stretchy, i wore it for my baby shower dress, im 8 months pregnant with a big old belly and didn’t feel like i was suffocating in it. Loved!! ... show more

The middle part seems like it would be pretty, but I just didn't care much for how it truly looked in person. The material was thick enough to feel comparable to the cost of the dress. The color was a very nice purple, which was thankfully not a bright royal purple.

This was for someone else in my family and easily met my expectations as a garment rather than a cheap costume grade fabric, i.e. it has density, consistent color, the seams are stitched well, the pattern is pieced together properly, and it has a quality color-matched, properly finished hidden zipper. Worn once so far. The only noticeable stitching flaw is that the end of one of the straps that is meant to be sewn closed into a loop around the center bar of the metal slider was unstitched, so it shoud be fixed. I typically find adjustable spaghetti straps with the standard silver metal sliders to be cheap looking. But they are very practical, and in our case, they were necessary and did the job (the unfixed end was not a problem for this first wearing). Color matching the metal sliders might be an upgrade, but those can often times chip. This dress is worthy of having a seamstress sew in permanent straps for a more seriously formal occasion, i.e. bridesmaids or formal business event. A lighter color fabric may be see-through, I'm not sure. It was worn with work-out type undergarments, but nothing showed through the burgundy color. The color and style were perfectly represented online and seemed true-to-size, for someone appx 5'3", 110lbs, 32A chest. An XS is not offered so we took a risk and got a Small and it was comfortably roomy, but not sloppy or too-big. Just not skin-tight, but no major gaps or falling off, etc. The fabric has stretch to it, so I'm sure an XS would have been fine, but the ever so slightly looser fit was lovely. I found no rips, snags, loose threads (other than the strap end), etc. I'd prefer not spending so much for our not-serious occasion, but this dress could definitely be worn again and is versatile as a great "blank slate" to accessorize in many different ways. ... show more
