  • My child loves it
This was actually a special request from my child and he absolutely loved it I did find that the ties to hold on the chest were a little flimsy and in fact we used the leg guards for the upper arms because they just look silly on the legs but if your child's into this then absolutely great buy.. bonus now we have a costume for Halloween already as well lol thanks again Amazon ... show more

My son loved this set! Much better quality than low end store similar items.

  • Grandson loves it!
My 5 1/2 year old grandson told me he feels 'cool and royal' dressed up in his armour. Product is sturdy and well made. The helmet does not have an attached strap which would be helpful as the helmet falls off and slides on his head. Still a BIG hit!

Product was cute, but didn’t hold up well with a bunch of little kids playing

  • Fell apart
Super cute and my grandson was excited about his armor but it only took a few “battles” to start falling apart

  • Good quality knight armor set
My son loves it. its actually a pretty cool playset. These were considerably thicker and of higher quality than I had anticipated for the price. Particularly the shield. And they were a fantastic fit for my seven years old. There are enough weapons and equipment for two youngsters to fight an epic battle. Everything needed to adequately safeguard the castle is included in the package. A armor, shield, helmet, sword, combat axe, shin guards, and gauntlet are included. With the full armor costume set. The Armor set is ideal for your young hero. The gold accents and decorations on the set make the armor appear real. In the center of the breastplate and shield is a gold cross. The visor of the helmet is adjustable and may be moved up and down. The shield, shin guards, and gauntlet all have adjustable and comfy black straps. The set is suggested for youngsters aged 3 to 10 years. The accessory kit is comprised of high-quality materials for maximum durability. ... show more

  • Looks cool but the functionality is a little lacking.
** EDIT ** - The sword just broke from contact with another toy sword. So I guess that busts my review down even more. I think just about every boy, including myself, has at one point dreamed of donning a full set of armor for play in a fantasy world. What's cool about this set is that it includes both an axe and a sword, as well as a mighty looking gauntlet which was not something I'd seen before in older play armor sets. So the concept is good here but when my 8 year old wanted to put the armor on we found that the straps required to keep it in place we're way too small. The chest plate has a little bit more give but still not enough to get around both shoulders. But the gauntlets and shin guards have straps that could not possibly completely wrap around his wrist or ankles. the straps themselves are not attached to anything so they can easily fall off. The helmet is OK and the shield works, plus, the detail of the sword and axe are decent. Now, the easy thing to do is to remove the flimsy straps and create your own either through string or some fabric you can tie around it. but that's a more work than someone who's paying $40 for a toy set should have to do. But there are not many choices out there for armor sets so still if you're prepared for a little extra work, it may not be that bad. But keep expectations low. ... show more
