It was so cute once we got it on. It was a little short for my son but it could just be him not the costume. Hes in the 90th percentile for height and 98th for head. Its definitely made for 50th percentile and below. I should have sized up. Also the material I dont think is that breathable. I had pants on my son and he started sweating. Adorable costume but the hood/hat runs extremely small! I ordered the 12-24 month size for my 6.5 month old and the hat barely cover half of his head. Granted, he does have a big head in the 98th percentile but the strap doesn't even come half way around his chin. The cap might've fit him when he was 2-3 months old. Definitely size up! The material sheds quite a bit too. Super disappointing as we are having to return it & are now without a costume with Halloween just a few days away. ... show more

I’m so disappointed. I was so excited for this to be my daughters first Halloween costume but it is WAAYY too small. She usually wears 3 month and this wouldn’t even fit over her shoulders. I figured it was an Amazon purchase so returning would be simple but it’s not. I gave it 2 stars because of the return hassle (having to go to the post office and pay shipping) as well as, the product is cute but does not match the quality of the picture. ... show more

Very soft and doesn’t seem to make my baby uncomfortable though we ll see how long he will allow the headpiece on. (I saw a review that mentioned the headpiece was huge but there is a little Velcro strap to help keep it on and the reviewer’s pic didn’t seem to be utilizing that piece, so that should help). Fits my average sized 5 month old perfect with room for a onesie underneath as we live in the northeast and it’ll be too cold to wear by itself. He is somewhere around 15 lbs. As it’s bubble shaped and armless/ legless, will probably fit any baby unless he/she is extra long in the torso. With the simple and bright colors he looks adorable and will take some great Halloween pics :) ... show more

Overall cute costume, but runs very small. My son is only 2.5 months and it just fits perfectly. I would recommend ordering up for any older than him. Some design flaws as hood is a little too large but chin strap is very tight, scratchy and seems uncomfortable. If I keep it I'll have to make some changes to attaching the hood. Would have been better if was designed as one piece. Overall cute however and quality is not bad. ... show more

This costume won’t last for a dozen wears but is good enough for a few uses. The fabric sheds so we had to make sure our baby didn’t ingest any of the fragments. The body was snug and the hood huge. Overall my little one was comfortable in it despite the floppy beak falling in her face. One improvement that would be to finish off the edge seams so the fabric doesn’t shed as much, and if possible I would put a baseball cap or floppy hat underneath the hood so the beak stays out of baby’s face. ... show more

My son won first place with this chicken outfit~ It’s super cute when your child actually wants to wear it. I’ll be honest and say my son didn’t like to wear it. I’d write why, but he can’t speak yet..it may have been a little scratchy on the inside so it could by why.
